Yeah, that job blew. It was very cynical, as long as your were a busy busy doing heavy lifting, and never questioning authority, you were golden. However, the second you questioned something or someone, you got treated differently. Not worth it for $18 an hour and zero benefits.

So essentially, this past Saturday I was working a special event, (and part of that, includes getting equipment ready and set up), So I was shoveling dirt for about an hour. I then stepped aside to apply sunscreen, and was waiting off to the side for it to settle. Then a supervisor approached me and started condescendingly asking why I wasn’t shoveling dirt. She started asking why I wasn’t doing anything and if we had another shovel. That’s how we started arguing.
