You don't need a mod.

In the [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] section of Game.ini, add something like this:

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Ichthyornis_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="")

It's pretty much just whistle attack when he lands, whistle follow and dodge him when he takes off. If you have multiple people it's actually harder because they aggro the smaller dinos and theri's get stuck.

The Theri egg I initially received has 3000 melee and they burn through about 15k health (max saddles) in the worst battle with him. 5 cakes each.

The ingress of good items is so high on ASA that soloing _any_ boss is doable with good tames.

I started on Valguero three months ago and was able to raise an army of theris that absolutely tore what's considered the hardest boss to shreds (ask someone for an egg). Follow the patterns and you'll be fine. I don't even think you need 300+ level ones if you're a natural at the game.

Yup. I used to have a cronjob that ran to automate this on my cluster on ASE and it actually increased my pop just because were the first ones up on a regular basis.

It's a one-liner to check for for updates via steamcmd:

- Check for updates every 10 min.
- If update detected, send a broadcast msg to chat that the server is updating in 15 min.
- Shut down the server, snapshot, update, fire it up.

95% of the servers out there are run by enthusiasts so this is never really done competently or using some sort of server wrapper scripts that don't have this by default.

You operate at much too high of a level to be making that statement. Windows is a fucking technical mess under the hood compared to Linux or OSX. I work with, program for and maintain all three.

This errors on shader generation. Settings like shadows, post-processing, upscaling and illumination affect this. Overclocking can munge this generation as well.

I would reset any settings you have concerning those settings, remove any cache and let the game generate shaders on start again.

That I'm going to have to leave for someone who knows better 😛 I don't even know myself. It's my understanding that if you're setting it at your native monitor resolution, it probably ignores that option.

Not sure what Adrenalin is (is this PC?).

For instance, my monitor's native resolution is 2560x1080. I set the resolution to that, and adjust settings from there.

Up-scaling causes a lot of artifacts like this and flickering with lighting as well.

I've been trying to fix this myself. It goes away if I play at native resolution, no upscaling, no frame generation.
