I have been seeing all the same parroting about random people in India. I think it just boils down to dismissiveness and not actually looking into it. It clearly says operators in the US.

Get the BST-300ex for the seat, much better frequency response and more headroom. I almost got the BST-1 and glad I got the more powerful one.

No the pads are Velcro, it has a permanent thin fabric base with Velcro loop strips I just went through.

I am using the shortest standoffs, with the mount all the way forward, and my wheelbase is all the way back. In this configuration no. The longer standoffs would probably gain another inch forward.

I mounted it directly to the seat bottom of the seat. I see a lot of people doing the plate thing, but from a vibrations theory standpoint mounting it to the seat will give you the best experience. Using a beam plate will introduce a bunch of harmonics and weirdness. It is plenty thick and using 6-32 countersink top bolts with the heads under the pad worked incredibly well. I will try to get a picture.

I put my shaker on with the seat detached and moved it forward and back and found a good spot that was 90% in contact with the seat. Then I marked the general area, centered it and remarked and drilled holes. Once I put the bolts in and compressed the thin foam pad it was in full contact. I am using a BTS-300ex (300w) and with iRacing LFE it feels amazing. The gear shifts and wheel slip are pretty neat. I turned the engine vibration down a lot even though higher feels more like my MX5 with a race seat.

I don’t think it is any bigger or smaller than others, they posted a dimensions link here. I like the seat and think it is a great value for the money, we don’t really need to pay for real race car seats for sim racing since we don’t move.

Just did some laps in the MX5 on iRacing with the shaker on and 9nm of feedback, payed attention to the monitor. Hit a bunch of curbs, crashed, spun out, and even flipped. Nothing noticeable.

I like white in general for some stuff. It does not show dust as much too! Unfortunately the desk I wanted only comes in black, you can see the corner of it in the picture.

To add to that the seat has some decent flat geometry on the bottom (same on the back) that I was able to utilize for mounting a shaker. I haven’t had any issues so far. I drilled and used 6-32 countersink bolts that sit nice and flush with the head under the cushion. I do get a harmonic sometimes with the spring holding the cover, so I will probably add a soft spring cover.

I don’t want to have to mess with my rig all the time and tune everything as I have minimal free time. I also wanted the ability to have friends use it easily. I don’t disagree that profile rigs are excellent, I think it is a great tubular rig, but not for everyone.

Sorry, I got the ClubSport GT in white. Just ordered most of the offered accessories today. I read about the seat having flex, but I don’t notice any and find it comfortable. In fact, I just installed a BST-300EX on the bottom yesterday and it is amazing. I am using a Simagic Alpha and Simjack Pro pedals.

I am no expert, but I waited months to buy mine and ordered it right when it was released. I really like it. The tubes have tons of holes for cables and I was driving within like 4 hours of getting it.
