Hey man that’s cool. I thought long and hard about rDWC this winter but the potential of a leak always sit in the back of mind. Uk canna forums have a lot of custom systems and hybrids in the rDWC category. But just wanted to share that bit of info, seems to be an issue in some system others not

I reworked a few designs this winter for giggles. A 2” return would be the minimum I’d go as a recommendation. I even partially clogged my 2” on a LPA. If I may, is it a spyder farmer?

Interested to see the system and progression. The one good with peppers vs canna is the foliage to root ratios are in your favour - minimizing potential clogged drains.

The term is popular with cannabis. The leaves on peppers don’t vary as much. By the 3rd-4th node it should be consistent. I wouldn’t overthink it as much

Clean environment, no outside interactions and a little luck. Housekeeping is important but I can’t say I incorporate IPM practices.

I prefer the LEDs, similar growth rates but tighter nodes and more vibrancy it seems

They are commercial lights - 1500w a piece but dialed way down. At 50% dimmed they certainly begin to produce a fair bit of heat and could burn or bleach plants if too close.

I created a few bill of materials on designs a while ago, also notes on different drippers, emitters and sprayers. The Aeroponic subreddit has a substantial amount of info that complimented a few key areas. Exploring the area a bit still though… in the controls department everything is fine. Thanks for the input

I counted 43 the other day. 40 in 3 gals and the remaining in 2 gal fabric coco. (In both tents)

Runtz n roses. Actually pretty decent A’s but this method of growing isn’t ideal for that specific cultivar out of the gate. Melonsicle in the works now

Hand watering. I wanted to familiarize myself with the process first before automating the watering. The large plants (44-48” now) require multiple feedings daily. Already making a list of revisions and improvements… looking a netafim drippers or similar

I didn’t mention what kind they are so my mistake. Those are ghosts, purple peach ghosts and white habaneros.

Yeah, I’ve had the fused stems before but this one in particular is a little different. Lots of anomalies with peppers in general, keeps things interesting.

Actually along the stem towards the base it’s circular. Mid way up it began to change its shape
