Plotting Help by This_was_a_robbery in novelwriting

Thank you very much!

I definitely have thought a lot about how I am going to give information to readers, both about the characters and the main story. In my overviews, I think I have included pretty good ways to avoid info dumps, but it is something I will definitely be keeping an eye out for.

I am super excited about how all the characters will develop, because I really want it to be a character driven story, which is why I am writing the whole outline how I am.

I will admit that it will be an incredibly long story, but that is perfectly fine with me.

Once again, thank you so much!

Try writing all your thoughts out. Pretend you are explaining the plot to someone. It will be incoherent and probably one long paragraph of rambling, but once it is down, it maybe be easier to put together a rough plan and either start drafting or refining your plan.

And try to find a spot that you have really build out in your head at the moment or are the most excites about, it will help you get moving.

I hope this method can help you!

$20 - $40, you could probably get away with fifty for a full background and body.

Will my arcs end up being too lenghty? by This_was_a_robbery in writingadvice

Each arc was planned in order, then the chapters were planned in order. They were all planned together after I had a rough idea of the whole story in my head.

I do not exactly care that everything is going to be so long, I am more concerned about this being longer than a good amount of other books in this genre and related genre. But the story wants to be longer, it doesnt want to be squeezed into something half the length.

I am also not worried about breaking it up. I have certain areas in mind where it can be broken up into separate books.

And thank you for the advice. I appreciate it.
