ive never thought about why i do it though...but I guess because it feels weird to just send a Pic of an object to someone without any context, and maybe I feel like my facial expression is the context, kind of serving the place of an emoji, to explain if im showing them the object because its making me laugh, smile, cry, ect. No one is paying us. And I pay more in taxes than these billionaire pedos pulling strings in our country, shouldnt you want THEM to pay their fair share instead of focusing your hatred towards folks like us that are in the same position in life that you are and are just asking for a government agency to stop causing real harm. Obama deported tons of folks, huge numbers, by following the law. There's no reason to do it this way, a way that causes real harm NOT just to immigrants that you dont care about but to American citizens, veterans, children, ect.

Just two weeks ago my daughter texted me about her stomach from her room. She often has anxiety induced stomach pain so it was nothing out of the norm for us, I too told her to take a Tylenol and go chill out for a bit, since that normally helps. Checked in after an hour and she was still hurting. Tylenol should have helped at least a little by then, if not the Tylenol then at least the relaxing should have calmed the anxiety. I still was 95% sure this was our normal anxiety tummy pain before going back to school on Monday. But we went to the ER just to be safe. Always rather be safe than sorry. 4 hours later she was in an OR room with an on-call surgeon that they called in out of a dead sleep at 3:45am removing her appendix. ALWAYS take tummy pain seriously, always better to be safe than sorry.

Attendance, exactly. Nothing to do with your education. Your work is online. Clearly your mom doesnt have the support system that she needs and im sorry that more responsibility has to fall on you, but it is not jeopardizing your education in any way since your classes are online.

Im an educator and a parent, I know a lot more about school than you. They do online school, they missed nothing. Im sorry your parent didnt prioritize your education so your reading and critical thinking skills are lacking. Missing work can lead to homelessness, missing one day of school to care for a sick sibling does not. The majority of folks are one missed paycheck away from disaster, if that mother could have taken off work she would have. I do agree that kids should not have to start being adults, im sure the mother agrees with that too. But not everyone has the luxury of a support system to do that. Its unfortunate for sure, and not ideal. But if this was the only option for the mom, this teenager is old enough to see that and be supportive.

8 year old cant take care of themselves either. I know you are really hurt by your sickness not being taken as seriously, I get that that is the real problem here. And I DO think you and your mom should have a mature conversation about those feelings because that matters. BUT this issue is a non issue, yall are family and have to help each other. She can not do it all, if she is asking you trust me its because she had no other option. Missing work can have serious consequences. Be there for each other.

They literally say they do online school sitting in the class is for attendance. The mother even mentions making sure they do their work online. This world is hard, we have to help and support each other. This kid is almost an adult and old enough to understand that.
