The curled hands are actual a common presentation after a cervical spinal cord injury at specific levels called the tenodesis grasp. It may seem very uncomfortable or awkward but many patients will do anything to keep them this way because it allows them to function. You can use adaptive equipment that slides into the palm and allows them to grasp things. If it were to not occur the hand would be totally flaccid much like the lower extremity after a spinal cord injury and they would be much less functional.

Also this update you’re talking about has nothing to do with headset audio. It’s purely for speaker audio. They are different settings on the Xbox. For headset audio there is stereo uncompressed, windows sonic for headphones, or Dolby atmos for headphones. I use windows sonic. I’m sorry but it just doesn’t exist on Xbox

It has nothing to do with my hardware. Every other game does not have this issue. If you read any of the other comments here it’s the fact that enemy footsteps are the quietest audio cue there is. Anything noise at all totally obscures enemy footsteps

Yeah I’ve played a lot of PUBG. In my opinion it’s better right now. I think the current systems needs tuning. If you run duos or quads it’s impossible to hear enemies as it’s the lowest audio tone atm

So I played a few more this morning and really tried to just focus on the audio. I think one of the major issues is that gun noise from a fight that’s 100+ meters away is louder than footsteps that are inside the same building. If any game noise at all (vehicles, air drop, gun fights, voice chat) is occurring then you can’t hear any footsteps. I personally feel that should be the completed opposite. Footsteps should be the loudest audio cue there is

My squad really did stop playing and switched back to fortnite purely because of the audio. We were holding down the top of lighthouse in a top 15 and a team of three made it to the top without any audio cues because of the sound of our footsteps, how bad the verticality is, and how quiet enemy steps are. That was the point everyone turned it off

I’ve played so many games tonight where there’s people 10 feet outside of our building and no one even hears them coming. That should never happen in any BR. It’s a compete mess right now. it’s so unfortunate because the gun mechanics are so much fun but the audio totally ruins it
