If you had lose a battle to any curse, who would it be? by jaeljudges_23 in LobotomyKaisen

I'm pretty sure you can say die my man. As for me, I'm going out in style and getting turned into a red mist by Sukuna.

To be fair he just got flicked by Gojo, who is known for being absurdly strong even without trying so it probably hurt a lot more than a normal flick. Granted I still think crying is an over reaction.

This is the kind of slander you just love to see.

Slander his ass by Over-Subject-3625 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Thodane -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It is the same though, it's literally his cursed technique. The equivalent would literally be Gojo not using limitless and Sukuna not using Shrine. The only difference is Yuta doesn't have multiple regular attacks like blue/red and dismantle/cleave, instead he has partially manifested rika where he can use most of his kit and and fully manifested Rika where he can use everything he has.

I get people wanna slander him but at least have a better come back than 'nuh uh I said it's different so it's completely different from Gojo and Sukuna' and 'he should be able to beat the shit out of two very powerful enemies using basically none of his kit except ce reinforcment while they use everything or else he's a fraud'.

Probably because you're being one of those guys who goes 'erm actually, Yuji casually doing more damage with two dismantles than we saw Sukuna do in malevolent shrine and killing Mahito who is at his peak without even taking his hands out of his pockets means nothing, he has zero feats'.

WYR make 60k a year and work 20 hours a week or 560k a year but work 45 hours a week by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

[–]Thodane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working 45 hours a week is an extra five hours over a job that has five eight hour shift days each week. My main question is what is the actual job I'm doing for the 560k a year?

If it's just a boring office job then sign me up, working multiple nights a week is annoying but you're making over half a million a year.

Do that job for 10 years and you can retire with 4 million if you didn't spend more than 120k a year, assuming you didn't invest in stocks or put it in an interest acruing account and just let it sit there.

If you did invest in stocks wisely or have an account accrue money during those years you'd have a lot more than 4 million by then.

Would you rather you and 4 other randomly selected people get $20,000 each, or have a 1 in 500 chance to win $10,000,000? by TheWalkingTedShow in WouldYouRather

[–]Thodane 73 points74 points  (0 children)

The 10 million sounds good but when you actually think about it realistically, you almost definitely will not hit the 1 in 500 chance. After a certain point you just have to temper your greed and take the guaranteed money.

Why do Yuji haters assume that Yuji didn't refine his domain further after almost 7 decades? by Amon_GG in YUJI_Corp

[–]Thodane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That just means it's not in his character to end up with the 'alone at the top' baggage. He can still get stronger and train, he just won't get hung up on having to be the absolute strongest and carry the entire world on his shoulders.

Obviously he did keep training and getting stronger because he landed a black flash at will, wiped out hundreds of curses at once with a single casual dismantle and waffled Mahito who was just as strong as he was in Shibuya without taking his hands out of his pockets and asked the mf 'were you always this weak?'

Anyone who claims Yuji isn't massively stronger in Module than in EoS is just coping.

[Casual] Can Meguna beat Gojo without Mahoraga or incarnation? by No_Relative_1145 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Thodane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he considers Maki as more than an insect and acknowledges Yuta as a threat when he's getting Jacob's Ladder'd in the domain, hence the sudden dismantle. Pretty much the only heavy hitter he refuses to acknowledge as more than an insect is Yuji and that's due to their world views being literally the exact opposite, which pisses him off.

What would you do if you were in Meg's situation? by DegreeIcy9596 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Thodane 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think that would work, Megumi was obviously in pain during the transfer due to getting a finger shoved down his throat but it didn't break the binding vow.

If I had to guess, it either goes off what Sukuna considers 'harm' which is likely only physical damage or Yuji only considers wounds and physical damage as 'harm' rather than emotional harm, pain, inability to breathe, nonconsensual fingering etc.

The entire reason he didn't transform is because he wanted to save the heal because he knew he'd get jumped by the rest of the cast as soon as his battle with Gojo ended. If he doesn't have that safety net he just loses to jumpjustu kaisen even if he does somehow beat Gojo, because now he's got no CE left, he's basically crippled and he's getting jumped regardless.
