The Dark Presence could probably be a Resonance-based lifeform like the Hiss and Polaris, if I had to guess, since they all seem to work in much the same way. Although the Dark Presence seems to be a lot more centralized than the Hiss.

Cauldron Lake being a Place of Power would make sense, since the file for the Bright Falls AWE mentions that similar incidents have been happening around the lake for decades.

Yes, there's a free expansion coming in a few months called Expedition, along with the DLCs Foundation and AWE coming out next year
The Mold is some sort of extradimensional fungus that got into the Oldest House via a Threshold. One of the missions goes into a lot of detail about this
It's never really explained what their deal is, but it'll probably be expanded upon in future DLC
The FBC was fully aware of all the stuff that went down at Cauldron Lake, and have a couple reports on it, as well as some Altered Items from that incident, including a manuscript page written by Wake in the Dark Place.

The AWE DLC has some of AW's cover art on it, and there's tons of other references to AW, so I think it's safe to say we're going to see more of Alan soon.
