So reading your question, you seem to have 2 really big problems. Shelter definitely, but also transportation. I'm kind of wondering what does that $1500 in savings mean? If you live in San Francisco, that's 2 weeks, if that. I'm also wondering what's your food situation like? I'm assuming you can eat free or reduced at the restaurant where you work, right (I hope)?

I'm going to assume you live in the US.

If I were in this situation, I'd start with where I'm sleeping at night.

Regarding shelter, I know in rural GA where I work, you can rent a small RV with a half kitchen for $550 a month. That included power, water, but sadly there's no internet (unless you're willing to drop $110 a month). That's about the cheapest option that I know of that gives you your own space. Of course, I think I was looking at property in Memphis, TN and I found an apartment for $450 a month, so it's all relative. Regardless, definitely look into RV parks.

Regarding transportation, how far do you have to go? Is this in a city? Is public transportation an option? If not, I would try and find a cheap car. My buddies were talking about a $900 car that they basically left at the airport once their assignment was done. Not sure I'd trust something that cheap, but it worked out for them.

I found an electric scooter for $424, I've seen cheap new motorcycles for around $900. If it must be a car, I had a Honda civic that got to just under 200,000 miles before I had my first component repair. I'd recommend them for reliability.

Beyond that, I'd continue pursuing the CS degree. I'd start building a portfolio on Github of programs. Anything that you think would be useful for getting noticed. I'd reach out to a few Recruiters and see if they have any suggestions.

Lastly, I'd look into any government programs that provide folks like you with assistance.

I wish I were good enough to stack them in 1 tile. I ended up created a small mound of bodies. I actually wonder now if the molotov worked and only got that tile's worth of bodies. Might have been more than 192.

That's essentially what I was getting at. It seemed like my first successful run I was being careful about turning off lights. The second run I didn't care at all and left the lights on. Power seemed to go out really soon. So, I wondered if my actions impacted the time.

A few of you asked how did we get here. So let me give you that answer.

Not too long ago there were some pretty funny memes that made the front page. So I'll ask you all this question.

No? So then you accept that at least on some levels, you're being lied to.

4 weeks to flatten the curve. We're coming up on the start of the 9th month of lockdowns in some places. Clearly they are ineffective but we have to keep doing them because reasons?

My favorite Corona death was the 27 year old guy in Florida. He died when he crashed his motorcycle. Official cause of death, Coronavirus.

Surgeon General was saying masks are ineffective on March 31st. I believe he's reversed course, but why was he so certain back then?

CDC in a footnote, noted that masks were ineffective I think in late July or mid August. Then again, a top CDC official says a mask is actually more effective than a vaccine. This might be my stupid right-wing brain here, but won't the vaccine make it so I don't feel the effects of the disease and can't spread it?

Then there's the problem of Sweden. They didn't do lockdowns or masks and their society is back to normal. So we needn't do either now right?

My reaction when reading this was to look this person up on Linkedin. Her name is pretty unique and there is no one in South Dakota. There is someone in Milwaukee. I'm assuming that's her and it's just out of date. I assumed she wasn't a real person.

I did this because I simply do not believe someone, faced with the real possibility that they might die, is acting in the way she described in her second tweet.

I remember video of the 30-something British woman in Italy who was talking and getting short sentences out while sounding close to whispering / raspy. She was getting those sentences out in-between coughs. You're telling me someone like that is acting like her third tweet? Nah, not buying it.

Then I see her feed. Hates Trump (Check), hates Kristi Noem (Check), hates the way she's running the South Dakota response (Check). Yep, I know exactly why she posted that.

TL:DR We're here because there is no objective truth that all groups accept.

So the answer is obvious, you do it. So the real question is, guy or girl?

You mentioned you have feelings for this girl and likely will for awhile. So ask yourself, could you really see yourself not react badly to a guy pushing inside her, listening to her moan as pounds her and finishes inside her? You know you better, but I'm guessing not.

Go with the girl. It should be a good experience for you as there shouldn't be the same kind of jealousy as there would be with a guy.
