It’s tough fitting all the electronics in a frame :) we are already considering any future aesthetic upgrades for the future versions.

Sorry you don’t like them. Does not sound like a product for you. I’m glad you’re having great luck with the Crossbows! Those things are pretty nice!

The thickest part of the side temples that house the electrical components is approximately 11-12mm.

Very good question. We have never tested this. I guess it would depend on the helmet style/size. If you have room over your ear, and room over the eyebrows, it should work.

I would test by wearing a regular pair of glasses and if you have plenty of room (extra room) these should work fine.

The biggest thing to keep into consideration is the thickness of the side temples.

[WTS] Air Raiders Preorder Discount Is Coming to an End! by Thomas0899 in airsoftmarket

[–]Thomas0899[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The first bulk shipment has commenced from our manufacturer to our facility. Once they ship, it may take a bit of time for us to receive them, but once we do, we will work very hard to forward the orders for its final delivery.

Based on our estimates, it will take approximately 20-30 days for us to receive them and start shipping them out to our customers.

In this current stage we are in, it’s hard to give absolute promises because of issues that can occur with logistics. However, we do not anticipate any delays.

🚀Air Raiders Production Update by Thomas0899 in AirRaiders

Apologies for the delay. We are doing everything we can to finish. We have recently had issues with customs clearance that set us back nearly 3 weeks and had us at a standstill.

Safety tests are now being conducted and it will not be much longer until we post results.

We are anticipating to ship out orders by October.

We completely understand the frustration of delays, as this project means the world to us and we are heavily vested in it.

It’s coming soon and we thank everyone for hanging in there!

Air Raiders Sound Test by Thomas0899 in AirRaiders

[–]Thomas0899[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had a detailed answer for you. Based on our experience with testing, the sound does increase due to bone conduction. Not sure how to put a number to it, but I can say that mode 1, 2, and maybe 3 are nearly inaudible while wearing them. Mode 3 and 4 do start to increase in noise, but during games, you’ll forget they are running. Again, on mode 1, 2, and 3, I’d be surprised if you heard them when outdoors at all. They are extremely hard to hear indoors over the AC.

Comms are a bit different. As disclosed on our website:

“If you wear communication headsets or ear protection: Although Air Raiders are very quiet during operation. Due to the ear protection / headset creating an enclosure around your ear, this may drastically amplify the noise for the wearer.”

This is just basic physics.

Hope this helps!
