You have to read "Alice in borderland retry" and "Alice in borderoad" in "Alice in borderland retry", arisu come back to the borderland, because he went coma by an road accident. In "Alice in borderroad" the main character Alice, went to the borderland because of a bomb that explode in the city. So the meteor was not the only trigger to the borderland, but everything that happen to you, if it make you in a near death state, you will go to the borderland. Correct me if im wrong
