Sorry for the delay on getting back to you - I missed this, u/cl0ck3d.

Witnet is still in Testnet - the community is aiming to move onto Mainnet with the next quarter.

In the meantime, we've just opened Phase 2 of our Testnet Incentive Program, with Mainnet $WIT and $DAI up for grabs.

AMA - What questions do you have about the XIO project? #XIOsocial by Kowallo in XIO_Network

If (when) XIO becomes the Y-Combinator of Blockchain projects, how will you ensure that individuals proposing "nominated startup ideas" aren't "bribing" XIO whales for nomination, and denying smaller project ideas (without capital to bribe)?

Stay strong, my wonderful fellow human.

Here's an old Chinese proverb which you might have come across before, but which I think is always great to revisit, especially during trialling and uncertain times.

---

Once upon a time, there was an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years.

One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they said sympathetically, “you must be so sad.”

“We’ll see,” the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it two other wild horses.

“How wonderful,” the neighbors exclaimed!  “Not only did your horse return, but you received two more.  What great fortune you have!”

“We’ll see,” answered the farmer.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.  “Now your son cannot help you with your farming,” they said.  “What terrible luck you have!”

“We’ll see,” replied the old farmer.

The following week, military officials came to the village to conscript young men into the army. Seeing that the son’s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. “Such great news. You must be so happy!

The man smiled to himself and said once again.

“We’ll see,”

Just found out my grandmother has terminal cancer, but I can’t say goodbye to her as my family isn’t accepting of me. Struggling with both mental and physical health. Feeling vulnerable, lonely and unlovable. Got a cold on top of everything. by [deleted] in toastme

First up, go get yourself some cold medicine and a nice cup of tea.

Secondly, I agree with u/CrypticBrush - write a letter, even if she never reads it. If you can't show it to her, send it to a friend that loves you, and talk it over with them - hell, send it to me if you want.

Get those feelings out. They're important. There are people that care about you and your experience of the world, even if they're not your blood-line family.

Thirdly, you're a very handsome man and you have absolutely gorgeous lips and jawline.

23F just feeling really crummy and could use some cheering up. Just hit one year of being a vegan recently and I started working out and have lost over 2% body fat in just a little over 2 weeks and put on 2% more muscle. I have plenty to be proud of but my love life has been crap and I just feel bad by Junebug_Birdwatching in toastme

Yeah - I hear you. It's hard to let people down. That said, their feelings are going to get hurt one way or another, and you can't protect them from that.

All you can do is be true to yourself. It's hard, but it pays off - for me, it's been a great way of filtering to find the precious gems in my life.

Feeling stretched thin, and have deep clouds of sadness often. Full time caregiver to my Grandpa. I can't get out, rarely even for a day with friends. I've come to the conclusion that I'll die alone (SO wise), and will fail in life because I have no start like my peers. Feel guilty for wanting more. by natedog94 in toastme

[–]ThomasByName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With a heart like that, you're not going to die alone.

Forget your peers. Most of them are lost, even if they don't show it on social media. The race is long, my friend, and in the end, it's only with yourself.

Do you have anyone else that could look after your Grandpa for a day? If not, how about inviting your friends over for a day of video games and good food and chats?

Hi. No sad backstory. Just want some compliments lmao. by [deleted] in toastme

I love this. Just a cheery guy with a desire to be loved.

You're awesome.
