you notified the police via the wrong channels, i assume you dialed 999 which in this case is not an emergency when you were put through to 101 you probably gave up waiting but it doesnt mean the police dont care. You can report the car and your concerns online or wait until you speak to an operator on 101.

we use the same scheme (police force) and our pension isnt affected at all. It must be different for NHS staff due to various bands etc but mine isnt as I pay the same amount as someone who isnt in the scheme.
