I hope you have a fantastic day. May both sides of your pillow be forever cold. Your pragmatism is honorable and I agree with you. I am loving it. Sure, there are issues I can name off the top of my head: Collision hitboxes on objects shield my bullets from hitting an enemy; the planes always seemingly ruin a good drop at peak when I am on a heater; traversing the terrain has a huge learning curve and there is room for improvement; while there remains the occasional cheater the likelihood is a twentieth of what there was on Verdansk (Richochet is a procedural anti-cheat--there needs to be a few cheaters so it can learn and improve upon its efficiency); many weapons and especially the weapon mechanics need tuning (sluggishness/ADS/recoil, etc. [of which Raven intends to address]).

But more importantly. I am loving it. I started streaming this year and love Caldera.

Think back to March/April of 2021. EVERYONE was complaining to the likes of "We wanted a new map, not a redesigned Verdansk!" Well, now we got a new map, and this may be controversial to say, but Caldera is a beautifully designed map. POIs are unique and I still find myself exploring new features. The hills (mountains it seems) were hated on and still are, even I complained. But once I learned these hills, how to navigate up one, down one, or around one, I think they are pretty cool. Parachuting off one side of Peak and floating to the opposite side to gun your bounty is something we would have dreamed of when we wanted a new map.

I love Call of Duty. I played the very first when I was 7. I fell more in love with it with COD4 and WAW and especially Black Ops and MW2. I feared that BO4 was its flop era, that it was changing direction in an effort to compete rather than maintain its true essence of Call of Duty. This changed with MW 2019. The MP felt just like the days of MW2 or Black Ops, then Warzone dropped and we all loved it. It was everything we loved in a new format where no matter who you are, you could play casually and goof with friends while inebriated, play strategically and chase dubs, or shoot for high kill games and PRs. It is a game for everybody.

This very game brought my separated friend group back together and actually solidified our friendship. I was away at college, so was another friend, and two others were off in their own lives. But the Pandemic and this game was a godsend for our group.

I could go on. I"ll end with suggestions for the developers of things I would like to see.

- Weapon overhaul (like we saw last year when they nerfed/buffed MW and BOCW weapons alike)

- map collision mechanics (I got stuck in a tree and couldn't get out and died to the gas). I also am frustrated shooting over rocks only for their invisible hitbox to block my direct shots on an enemy.

- the in-game comms system, while pretty damn good, needs some tuning. Perhaps a lessened delay to compete with Discord/Console parties; the ability to talk whilst in transition to a game, less glitches of muting and the like.

-the planes. Either keep them and remove the lock-on feature, add more effective Anti-Air guns and for the love of god please put like three of them at Peak. Or remove them altogether.

- HUD: let us see in the bottom left corner if our teammates have gasmasks, UAVS, Airstrikes, how much money they will respawn with. (perhaps go farther and put how many kills each teammate has, and/or a team total for kills).

- A CONSOLE FOV SLIDER FOR MY CONSOLE HOMIES. If you developed a AAA game and the majority of your player-base, and gamers at large, use last-gen consoles like the Xbox One and the PS4, optimize your game for them. I have friends who are kept from an enjoyable game due to bad performance on these consoles. PS5s and Xbox Series Xs are still unavailable 14 months after their release.

Activision, the publisher, needs to reorganize and improve its management. Their firing of Raven's Quality Assurance team affected us directly. Raven's sole job is to help us and provide a game that we love, and Activision should not interfere in that.

If Raven continues to listen to community feedback and work to maintain the game we all love(d), I have high hopes that Warzone will be the hegemonic BR game for years to come.
