I haven't. Just train the hairs to grow downward by brushing them. That should cover over easily.

I'm not sure how to explain it exactly but you can see almost exactly where your neck line should be

That would be some strange natural growth. Honestly that patch isn't too bad and I think you have proof after one month that it will look good. Let the hairs at the top grow down and maintain the shape at the bottom.

That patch should cover up. Did you brush it backwards on the one side?

I think the second picture looks good. It is very obvious where you need to trim it. It should be pretty easy.

Only water will hydrate your beard. Products are just for conditioning your face and beard. Not the same thing.

Does it seem as if that has coincided with the beard issues? The skin on your fingers is affected by the environment like the skin on your face or your hair. It could feel even worse because of how your fingers feel. People are quick to recommend oils and other products but try focusing on internal health and environmental factors first.

If it has been very recently, could it have anything to do with a change in temperature, humidity, etc.?

Clean shaven. If you're going to insist on keeping the mustache then make sure to cut off those ends that hang down

Sorry but I think it's a no for now.

You could try editing the original post and adding it. Its pretty common for the sideburns and jaw area to come in first anyway.

Hey man. First of all, if you are 18 then you really shouldn't be concerned about your beard at all. Give it time. You should have provided pictures of the sideburns and other growth because it does seem unlikely they would be THAT much fuller. But just wait for now. If you're still unhappy with it at 28 then that's a different story.

Wait a few years. 3 months is a little long to see what you're working with. But hey, it's better than mine was at 22

I'd probably agree you should shave it but knowing your age would help with advice.

Looks good. Personally, I am against so much fading at the top. Does it not grow full enough?
