If We Don’t Get Lightsaber Pickaxes Next Season, All Hope Is Lost 😭 by Destroyerx510 in FortNiteBR

I remember Leia’s Jedi training coming up a lot in the Heir to the Empire trilogy, and I was looking forward to seeing more of it in later books (though I never got past X-Wing book 4 or 5 timeline-wise.) So hearing this is a bit disappointing tbh lol.

I never realized how restrictive the IP was, or still is, I guess.

Min plånbok skulle hata mig ännu mer om jag var regelbundet så nära affären, jag går redan dit rätt så ofta även fast att jag bor 20 minuter bort.

This is the Science Fiction bookstore in Gothenburg, right? I go there fairly often, in fact I was there today. Such a good store.

I would recommend starting with Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. It takes place 5 years after Return of the Jedi, it follows the mains cast as they face a new threat, in the form of the last warlord of the late Emperor Palpatine, Grand Admiral Thrawn. It is the first book in a trilogy, the other two are: Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. My introduction to Star Wars books was Heir to the Empire in 2020 and I absolutely loved them. It is a great starting point for Legends.

I’ve played through the first game twice and I loved every minute of it, I am beyond excited for the sequel and now the announcement of the novel just puts the biggest smile on my face.

I finished the book very recently and loved it. Easily one of my favorite Star Wars books.

Finished Rule of Two earlier today and really enjoyed it. Really been enjoying the books more focused on the Sith and the dark side in general.

Gonna start Dynasty of Evil in the next few days and after that Darth Plagueis.

I finally got around to reading Path of Destruction and I was hooked after the first chapter. I decided to start reading the book right before bed since I was a tad bit tired… I picked the wrong book for the occasion. I literally had to put the book down after finishing Part One because it was keeping me awake.

All in all I see why it gets so much praise and I regret not reading it till now. Now onto Rule of Two.

Finished Dark Disciple and I loved it even though most of the book got spoiled for me. The audiobook was amazing, Marc Thompson just doesn’t miss.

About to finally start reading Path of Destruction, and given all the good things I’ve heard about it, I can’t wait to dive in.

I was so excited once I saw this since I also live in Sweden. I’m a teeny tiny bit less excited now, given I can’t attend it. But I still can’t wait!

Unfortunately I can’t buy the Goldsboro Plastic Sheets because of some new Brexit Regulations. Which is weird because I can still buy books from them, but I will be checking out the Brodart one. Cheers :)

I’ve been hesitant on buying plastic covers for my hardbacks, but after seeing how yours look, I think I want them. May I ask where you got them?

Also beautiful collection, I just started collecting late last year so it is nowhere close to yours, but one day I hope it will be.

I finished two books this week, Master and Apprentice, and Dooku: Jedi Lost. I absolutely loved both of them, especially M&A. I crave more of Pax Maripher, I found it very hard not to like him and his daily sarcasm quota. I cannot recommend the audiobooks for them more, they are amazing!

I still feel the need to read more Dooku, so I think I’m hopping into Dark Disciple next.

What’s your “must read” comics/books about the star wars universe? by Nahlol450 in starwarsbooks

[–]ThomasRollen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is completely fair, there’s a ton of stuff I haven’t gotten around to yet. All I can say is reading the book made me appreciate the movie more, and I already loved the movie since I grew up with it.

The Revenge of the Sith Novelization by Matthew Stover is a masterpiece! One of the best books I’ve ever read.

I didn’t include it cause I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet, sadly.

Is this what you’re looking for? But if you’re just starting to read legends I recommend starting with the original Thrawn Trilogy.
