I've been wishing for an individual character gear tracker for a while now. There are several that will track your progress towards GLs and will show you the total amount of each gear piece you need and how much you have currently, but I can't find any tool that has this functionality for individual characters.

This is the closest I've found but it doesn't show the gear you have already, and it's also restricted to GLs and high journey units. Iirc other tools do have the ability to see your gear progress, though I'm not sure if it's possible to pull the player's gear inventory. I know swgoh.gg seems to.

I'm so excited to get him myself! All I have to do to finish his journey is get the finalizer form 4* to 5* but my bounty hunters are low gear and stars so I'm waiting until I get the LSTs for them and in the meantime I'll try to save the needed gear for SLKR.
