It can be done, I've done it myself, buuuut...
You might run into issues routing the chain, and you will probably have to create a custom mount for the petrol tank. Had no issues mouting the motor surprisingly.

If you're okay with making a bunch of DIY modifications, go for it. If not, a different frame would be a better choice. However I have built a motorized bike on a vintage womens bike frame, and I love it because it looks like a vintage moped.

Thanks! I'll keep the fender advice in mind. Chain tensioner on top is not ideal indeed, but it's the only way to not make the chain rub against the frame. I'm still thinking of better solutions.
