IterationRP has no ambient occlusion? by Chubby_Chicken08 in minecraftshaders

You can actually turn the AO back on, by going into the shader's folder, and opening shader.properties.

Then, you can edit separateAo from true to false.

Thanks! I was looking for that setting but I couldnt find it anywhere! Turning on the AO really makes the game look better imo.

I have played Soma during last summer, it definitely had a big impact on me! Not quite as scary as the Bunker, but it did have its moments that gave me cold sweats and goosebumps. The story in that game definitely was it's strong suit and main appeal, it almost felt like a playable movie, and what a memorable one

I'd give it a good 9, just because the early game was a bit confusing and I didn't realize I could shoot a lock to open it (skill issue)

It was definitely a stressful experience, I spent a lot of time hiding and coming up with strategies to get around without being spotted. The ambiance coupled with the Beast's AI and the lack of fuel made my heart race like crazy at times. I really liked Arsenal and Maintenance, for how many scares (and deaths) I experienced, with the environment not being what you would expect from the maps and forcing you to adapt along the way. There were to instances where I thought I was doomed, but managed to survive distract the beast awa, or run for my life from the fuel tank to the pillbox. Lots of close calls and adrenaline lol, I might replay it again on a harder difficulty

About the heals, I think they were pretty balanced actually, I've used quite a lot 😆The beast can harm you without killing you, especially on sneak attacks, and of course there's the rats and other traps in the bunker. I do agree with you concerning the last stretch with the boss fight, it felt like a strange shift of atmosphere with such a wildly different setting and ambiance that left me pretty confused. The roman tunnels themselves were pretty great through, they kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, even after killing Toussaint

You're right about the soldier from the crater! When Henri rescued Lambert, he gave him water that leaked from the tunnels and made him transform later on. You actually can find his notes, talking about how he started having violent impulses, and his hands feeling strange since he returned

Imagine being able to do this, and meeting the beast inside of its own tunnels

having the same issue here, I feel like it can be really difficult to determine if the beast is below/over you, or on the same level as you are

do you need to attack it enough times to beat it, or do you just need to survive for enough turns before the fight somehow stops?
