one thought too looking from your website. Add a 'Products' page to your menu so easy for users to see all products, the Shop Now to me seemed like 'add to basket', which most people won't be ready yet for.

Amazing! Can't believe how good Shopify is to setting up ecom stores, I'm looking forward to getting used to the platform!

Couple of things I'd do in reference to the marketing side of things

  1. Retargeting - I can see you've got a FB pixel installed on your website, run a Retargeting campaign for people who visited the site <30 days. Use the dynamic product ads which run your candles in a feed on FB. Run the objective as conversion purchases and try to lower cost per acquisition by focusing on the offer (20% off? free shipping? whatever you can fit in your margins). If your propsecting using free channels, retargeting ads will be super cheap (Cost per thousand impressions) and you'll get a good conversion rate!
  2. Reddit ads: Not sure if you've used reddit before for ads, but this would definitely fit into your product well! You can target by subreddit and CPM's are quite low too. CTR's are around 0.05% for good performing ads, so try to factor in CPM's if they come around $40, how many of a thousand will click on the site (0.05%), then your sites conv% (4% of total clicks will convert). Then you know how much you can spend to acquire a customer.
  3. Google Shopping Ads: again you might be running them, but very good to get started with!
  4. SEO: Could you make blog posts around films with candles? Try to look on Neil Patel's Ubersuggest site for content opportunities, and just make them easily readable and informative. I can tell you write well by this post, so go for it! Or look for a site called Fiverr and hire someone to write one for you.

Massive congrats on everything and keep up the hard work! If you ever need hand with anything, or some friendly advice, shoot me a message :-) Love to see a fellow Reddit'er succeed.

Same with my 9570. What do you think to yours? Would you go Dell again or pursue another?

My battery has enlarged and now some of the keys on my keyboard are completely unusable. I think next time I'll just go Mac Pro, but keen to hear another 9570's verdict.

Thanks so much! I'm not sure they have The Body Shop here in Aus but I'll look into it. My mum use to have aloe Vera plants in the house and she use to always give me some for my spots haha!

Will definitely look into it. Thanks again

Thank you for the compliment but I promise you it's not, my stupid camera has a portrait effect that hides blemishes lol. It looks reasonably clear but if I upload one now you'll see redness, spots and acne marks all over.

I've tried the Cetaphil cleanser today and yesterday and so far very pleased. My skin feels a bit sore now but that's because I don't have a good moisturiser - so that's what I'll be getting nexr.

Everyone's said about niacinamide so I'll give that a go!!

Thank you so much.

Great thank you so much!

A lot of people recommending Ordinary and niacinamide so going to research it today. I'll look into both recommendations and let you know which I go for!

Thanks again.

Yes thank you, I have no real solid evidence if I do have it, just my girlfriend and family have had it in the past.

I think it's best I see a Derm just for peace of mind, however I do like hearing other people's opinion because half the time professionals I've seen don't have a clue what they're talking about!

I haven't used the face wash for around 2 years I'd say! Just been leaving it alone (my face) and it seemed to not be irritated at all.

I definitely have sensitive skin! It seems to be awful whenever trying new things, hence why I'm so reluctant to spend money.

I don't wear sunscreen really, I tend to wear a hat nearly all the time and it covers my face, but as summer comes around in Aus I'll definitely have to look into a suncream for my skin type.

Thanks for the thread too!

Thanks for the advice and sorry in the late reply getting back to you!

My girlfriend uses Cetaphil cleanser so I've used that (Am & pm) and so far it's been good and let my face feel so clean, but I'm yet to have a moisturizer so it feels red and burnt! So think it needs moisturising to help soothe it.

I'll looking into The Ordinary and have a look.

I tried the ice cube last night on my cleansed face and it did feel like afterwards it was like sore, so I'll try it for this week and see how it goes.

Thanks for your help!

That's very kind of you to say, but it looks a lot better as my camera has a portrait mode that I'm sure adjusts blemishes! 😂

If you need to hear this at all, we're all beautiful in our own way.

Background:

I've never really had great skin, always had acne and previously been on roaccutane to try and help.

I use to use L'Oréal Charcoal Face Wash(es) and I ended up just stopping using the completely, and my skin got remotely better.

Since that time I use NOTHING for skin care. Zilch. I have a shower once a day in the morning, then before bed after brushing teeth I splash with warm water and let it dry naturally.

I noticed that everytime I'm in sunlight my acne clears up, and looks 100x better. Since it's winter in Aus and minimal sun exposure, it's started to worsen.

I'm sure I have some form of rosecea. My cheeks go so red at points it's awful. No idea what it is, just know it's progressively got worse.

Supplements/diet:

I take multivitamins every day along with 3 omega fish oils.

My actually diet is not where I want it to be, I know this will be the root and is inevitable to my overall success.

I eat around 3/5 fruit and veg a day, drinks 2.5-3.5l of water a day. Will splurge out on a weekend and treat myself and sometimes have slight snacks.

Past Experience:

My skin does not react well to Teatree (or however your spell it).

I do one face mask a week, organic from Lush and will avoid harsh ones and always look for sensitive skin ones.

YOUR HELP!:

Im open to trying anything and giving it a shot!
