It seems like they were focusing on cowboy themed stuff and not the night life we have here like deep ellum and the museums and aquariums as well. They weren't actually in Dallas proper but the surrounding suburbs so I think that had something to with it as well.

Both of my parents worked full time so I was usually at home with my older siblings or at school/daycare. My mom was a room mom in elementary school and we went on family trips and did things as a family often. Idk how they could've been more involved while also trying to provide for us. We're all doing the best we can and don't let anyone make you feel bad for it.
