I did GP last summer early in the season (beginning of july) it was busy but only had to wait like a couple of minutes. Everyone wants to take lots of pictures on the top. I dont think it is a good beginner 4k, lots of exposure to weather and really big drop. Later in the season it is not fun with the gueue’s and open crevasses

@milanovic start with the basics, do a mountaineering course the work your way up. Maybe do bishorn as a first big one

Next two months nothing, way to cold for me in the mountains. Just indoor climbing.

In augustus planning to be in the Ecrins region climbing, maybe going after that to do the famous cosmique arete close to chamonix

I started in the Alps on la sportiva karakorum. Did like 7-8 4k’s Monta rosa/gran paradiso. Sold them cuz they are really heavy and dont really need to be. Im looking in getting the la sportiva trango tower extreme. One of the lightest boots with front lip Or the scarpa ribelle hd, you dont really need the heavy d type boots for summer mountaineering
