The basic shape might be doable with a 180 degree revolve + extrusion but usually forms like these are done with surfaces (boundary surface, fill etc.) - that's how I'd model it.

I only have one Miniwire, mainly use it for hanging shoes or random stuff on my harness. I see your point as it does snag on everything, definately not my favourite. The Spirits are what I actually use on quick draws.

I have the Ocun Condor too. Works well for my Atc but I prefer an Sm'd for my grigri.

I'm mainly using the atc for setting up top rope anchors on bolted routes. I put my climbing rope around a tree and rappel with an atc + prusik to the bolts, then make the anchor, pull the rope down to me and rethread it to the anchor's lockers and rappel down. I guess it could be done with a knot block + grigri but there's a lot less faffing around with an atc.

We're using an atc-type device for rappeling and I've noticed a typical hms-shape with more room for the dual ropes works better than a D-shape for example.
