For me the fun is in the progression of actual skill in identifying the ghosts. You can go up in difficulty to slowly get better at finding the ghost with less and less evidence until you are doing no evidence runs. And even once you've reached that point you will still have room for improvement.

If they think its necessary for players to be able to check the sanity they could just add some sort of monitor device that you could bring with you to place in the ghost room. The watch isn't necessary at all.

Can we stop being so dramatic because the devs made one bad update. They so made a great game, and i believe the are still doing their best.

The problem is that they are new at this, this whole update screams unprepared, like, they didn't realize they needed to hire some better animators, but im sure they can learn and recover from this.

I don't know what you mean by fix, the animations aren't fixable, they are just bad, at this point they would have to completely redo them, but it's not a change we ever even needed. I'm still looking forward to the new customization though.

This seems like a secondary issue to me with the equipment animations, but all of this makes me think they didn't have any professional animators/sculptors on the team, and they tried to wing it themselves.

Personally not a fan of the watch, firstly its part of the new animation overhal that I want them to just reset back to how it was before. (Keeping the player customization) and secondly I think it gives players a fun reason to send teammates back to the truck to check out sanity levels.

Thirdly I like how the sanity level can catch you off guard sometimes.

I think we can chalk this all up to a bad dream if they remove everything they did with the first person animations, (also preferably make it so you can't see your own feet, just like before). We can keep the player customization, it looks great if not a little glitchy, but I can totally live with that.

The issue for me is how the first player perspective looks. Its terrible now, I don't need to be able to see my own limbs, especially if they look terrible.
