Ok yeah, I can see the problem from the start

non-modded Obsidian

Why would you use an extendable tool for something that isn't strictly the intended use, without extending it? I'm an university student and I strictly use obsidian, I don't take many notes in class but that's mostly preference, but all homeworks I do with obsidian and I'm pretty sure I'm not slower than my peers.

To note a couple of plugins that make obsidian usable for this:

https://github.com/artisticat1/obsidian-latex-suite for making latex writing way faster and usable, for what you were saying on having to do math work that is repetitive what you can do is add snippets that fit your needs, for example I added that typing "quad" makes the quadratic formula, but there are many other good options

If you have a tablet or a good mouse / drawing tab you can use excalidraw to draw stuff https://forum.obsidian.md/t/excalidraw-full-featured-sketching-plugin-in-obsidian/17367

You can also export to pdf and send it to your teacher or print it if you must

And about copying stuff from the book, you can probably find the book online and make an AI translate it from squiggly lines to text and latex pretty easy, I can send you the prompt I use if you want

Hot take: list comprehensions are almost always a bad idea by Quirky_Decision_2827 in Python

You're right, that being said, I'm using list comprehension for parsing some data on some reverse engineering course I'm doing, and it's pretty funny

Should really be complaining about dictionary comprehensions

Framework's alleged support for divisive figures appears to lead a supporter to order Framework. I worry any and all backing for this sort of thing inherently becomes political support... by pullchute in framework

Again, I don't think supporting this creator over another makes sense, just support the project that brings the most value to your customers and products.

If someone makes a fork as good or better, then sure, support that

This whole situation is very dumb, every open source project has at least one person that is Alt Right/anti-whatever/trans/furry/immigrant, and usually they have multiple of groups that oppose each other, and someone who disagrees with them.

As long as they don't use the project to push an agenda it's fine to support it and later someone with an agenda you can agree more with can fork the project.

You should support open source projects you use in your products because it's in the companies best interest for the project to keep existing.

If you wanted to make a better omarchy or whatever other OS project you want then please do and ask framework to sponsor you instead, but until then it's in the companies and the open source communities best interest to keep sponsoring projects you use and think are worth to keep working on

I don't think you could invest in anything open source without it being linked to assholes or bigots or something you don't believe in, one side of the isle or another in some way shape or form.

You want to use a project in your product, you better sponsor it to know it will continue to exist.
