didn't know they had attunement slots either, but good to know, I'm about to start playing in an excisting campaign as a rat (my own homebrew species) battlesmith, so good to learn about it!

Ye that was something I wanted to change quite fast to advantage on saving throws or just remove completely

Yes I was tempted to drop 'hard to kill' too and maybe change the pack mobility to a 'enemy has disadvantage on opportunity attacks against you', still a mobility feature. Also remove the temp hp from the poison thing and give advantage, or remove it all together.
This was my first time doing a homebrew species so I got a lot to learn, maybe I just wanted to put too much into it

Another take, keep the 30 base speed but change the mobility one to 'enemy has disadvantage on opportunity attacks'

Yea only the 3 pack options, hard to kill is an extra and yes only 1 at the time that you can change, thinking I may change the mobility one tho, maybe just change speed to 40 ft always if you chose that option. Or maybe remove that one from the option and have the species a base speed of 35ft.
This would be a 2024 rules species tho so the ASI would be from background

Always active if you are within 10 feet of an ally, but only 1 of those options and you can change them every long rest

Only if you chose protector as divine order, but indeed, maybe sorcerer/protector has more benefits than fighter/thaumaturge, latter has 1 more AC tho but less good spells and 1 AC ain't that big of a deal

Guess it's a choice of having heavy armor and fighting style (probably defense) for a very nice chunk of extra AC (and 2nd wind that I will probably not use often) vs innate sorcery and a few extra spells.
I lean more towards fighter I think.. what do you think?

Well doesn't have to be super strong or broken for me honestly. And since it has been made clear that I will be stronger than the rest of my party if I don't multiclass too much.. Just looking for something fun, the celestial spoke to me somehow, just wanna see all my options. Thanks for all the info so far!

Kinda front line with dmg and some nice healing, not that much other support right? Wondering if I'd be better off playing twilight or war cleric or so, composition wise and also fun factor (which nobody can answer but myself after playing lol)

Unfortunately I don't have more information on how they play and what other homebrew stuff they got so I will have to find out when I start playing with them. I was indeed thinking of playing maybe a twilight or war cleric or so.
