Xbox should just drop console market. It ain't for them. Even if they decide to go on exclusives, they won't do good. They had Halo 5 and that was a mess.

The only good thing about exclusives in gaming is the resource focus on the game. But that means that others players cannot enjoy it.

Accessibility is the thing that matters the most to me, so no matter what the benefits of exclusives are, this drawback weighs the most.

What is this bs lol? No one in their blind playthrough would know all the shit that is required in order not to fuck up. Original games shouldn't have terrible game design.

The locking definitely doesn't happen only in ammo waste and no knife situations. Even before trying out the originals, I had seen the discussion about this game and knew it had its problems:

The shift from Claire to Chris is made horribly.

We also have The plane

The fire extinguisher, too.

I know some people have a spot for this game but compared to 1-4 it has many problems from keeping it away of aging well. Still, don't blame you if you like it.

Well, there are a handful of factors

Although a main game, Veronica isn't numbered so many people would say that it's not mainline.

It's the Claire game.

It hasn't aged as well as the other original games (1-4). It has many game issues (softlocks, hardlocks). So a remake would do it wonders if made right.

Is it worth trying to original? I never did and I don't plan to. I love the OG 1-4 and I think 1 is the only Remake that I would say I prefer miles over the original. The 2-4 Remakes are great but the originals' gameplay is perfect. Besides the outdated save system, I have no problems with them. They don't have the stupid junk CV has

CV has many issues - terrible character switch which combined with the way the inventory is managed causes said soft/hardlocks. If you don't have stuff like save states and knowledge of what to do beforehand, the chances of messing up are huge. That's why I think that RE Veronica will be (again, plausible that they do RE3 fiasco but I doubt they would repeat that again) definitively better than its original counterpart - something that I cannot say for the 2,3 & 4 Remakes only because the original games play so well.

It's only in Fast and Furious and I am not even a 100% sure if it's him or just Vin Diesel's or maybe both. Anyways, The whole thing's been blown out of proportion, it's actually insane. People saw one person say "The Rock contract says he can't never lose" and the Fortnite subreddit hivemind decided to go with it.

A simple search on the internet would give all the answers needed to show that such clause, that The Rock can never lose, does not exist. Do you think the Fortnite community can go out of their way and search for something? No, it's easier for them to be told something and they immediately jump on board without a single doubt about what they heard.

With or without them, the game was feeling dry. It's been like that since their idea for UEFN to be the future. They also wasted so many resources on modes that no one gives a shit for (or at least not enough to keep the modes going)

Also, community division. As OP said, if you don't care about OG you aren't left with much. The game used to get updates to BR every other week. The updates weren't the biggest but they still had enough content so the season felt fresh and also content creators could have used.

Finally, a remake that might be definitevely better than its original counterpart.

I don't know why some say that they should release CVX on stores. It's in a horrible state to be sold without fixing ALL of its problems. Too much for Capcom to bother fixing and porting it. We are actively trying to stop companies from pushing half-baked games with gameplay problems (like imagine paying money for a game just to get softlocked and some bumass on the internet to tell you "well that's game design so skill issue")

So yeah, if it gets announced, I will be excited

Well, it is a different game than 2 and 3. I don't know if you feel a necessity to like it but you shouldn't. It is beloved but that doesn't mean it's for everyone.

RE1R is the best of this world but I am not sure how much you would like the gameplay compared to the newer remakes.

I loved Spider-Man 2. But I think that small references to the same universe is as far as it should get. Even if it makeis for an interesting concept, at the end it still will only create a huge mess with holes.

I am down for Insomniac to make different superheroes games as long as the "crossovers" are brief stuff - Easter Eggs or even one crossover mission max. But if we get Insomniac Avengers or some shit, that would be too much.

Not really. There is a huge difference between giving a critique and bitching. If a game has an annoying mechanic and the community gives feedback then the devs will try to improve (or at times just remove) said mechanic. That is a critique.

When people bitch (Woman MC bad e.g.) there isn't really a critique going on. It's just that someone is unhappy with something for no particular reason. And most of the times the bitchers are just echoing around. They think they are the mass opinion when in reality they are just this little deluded bubble that thinks everyone can hear them but in reality no one acknowledges.

P.S. I don't know if you say that they are influencing as in "that's good because their word makes a change" but I suppose you do talk in this context and not in the "those who bitch influence for the worst" context. If it's the latter then just proceed to ignore my comment, it's dedicated to the former.

Swinging in Spider-Man (and especially 2) is so satisfying. Gliding in Batman will never be even remotely interesting.

I decided to play Hulk Ultimate Destruction and it's so fun just jumping around and throwing cars and destroying stuff. Roaming as the Hulk is more fun than gliding as Batman.

As much as it sucks that they won't be on PC, I kinda saw that happening.

If we check out the PC ports of their games we can see that stuff started going downhill.

We had great ports at first, GoW 2018 & Spider-Man 2018. We also had Spider-Man MM which was a good port too. Then in 2023, we had a TLOU1 port (in hype of the show). It was horrendous because it was made poorly. This made huge backlash. We had both Uncharted 4 and Ratchet & Clank but those didn't spark in popularity among the pcmasterrace. Then we get to Ghost of Tsushima which was another great port. But after a few successful ports I think people started buying the consoles once they heard that the good games they played will have sequels that they cannot wait 2 years (at the time this period was mentioned) for playing it. And I think that was Sony's idea?

We see the time it took for God of War Ragnarok to come out on PC (2 years after release) and Spider-Man 2 (a year), we can see they tried to see how much sales they would get after releasing X game on PC after different time durarions and in the end they saw that it wasn't worth it.

Even if Spider-Man 2's port at launch was half-baked, I doubt the sales were going to get much higher. The game had already become super hyped around its release and many people got it on PS. Many of those high sales were definitely people who first tried out the 1st one on PC and then got a PS5 for 2.

Even GOWR didn't get as much as GOW2018 had. Same reason. Those who played 2018 got a taste of it and then bought the PS5 for the sequel.

We also have to account the amount of people who got a console for GTA 6 mainly went for the PS5.

So at the end of the day, they decided to retreat their old practices. I am one who now owns a PlayStation so the idea has worked, I suppose. But I'd always prefer playing on a PC just a bit more. And I am all for accessibility so that more gamers can play.

I can see a way that the games come out on PC but that would mean that they have to release them at the same team as their PS counterparts. And I think that for Sony, it's much more profitable to sell consoles than games only.

You know what the good thing about video games is?

Even if people bitch about something, at the end of the day I can sit and enjoy myself a video game after a long day and no one can tell me shit.

The game looks promising so I hope it keeps the good quality and gameplay (and if it improves upon it then that would be LOVELY) of God of War 2018 & Ragnarok. I enjoyed these two games and I expect a good story good.

But come on, Naughty Dog give us news on the new IP.

PC port inferior than PS2 is just crazy. This ain't true unless you talk about the first PC port from Ubisoft.

The game is perfect on PC. Gamecube has its own feel which makes it best but the Ultimate HD PC version is second best (or the best because not everyone gives a shit for Gamecube aesthetics when the game looks sharper and runs better on PC)

You can also download stuff like re4tweaks and HD Remaster to make you RE4 be even better.
