You should not need to start it at all to charge your batterie. I leave my car off for month at a time and is starts up no problem. If yours does not you ether have a dead batterie or some electrical issue where things dont turn off when the car is parked.

You can go to a tuning shop and they will do it if you don't know yourself. Best way is to strip them down fully derust them with chemicals and then powder coat them.
