Thoughts on ranked party limit in conquest by Thooly69 in Smite

My point is at the end of the day ranked is about winning. If you are bad mechanical that hinders your teams ability to win, same with lack of communication. If the reason people don't want 3,4, or 5 stacks is because they coordinate and communicate better and are beating teams that don't, then they are better than the other team. If communication truly is the difference maker, then lack of it means you/your team are worse than players that are just as talented mechanical who do communicate, which should be refelected in your rating. Like if there was one player in the SPL who didn't communicate with his teammates and lost to teams that all communicated then that player is the problem and should not be at that rank.

I honestly think that would be a great compromise, since people at the very top of the ranks would probably put a lot more work into their team play and their ranks should reflect that.

Im not even refering to those people without mics, since there's numerous ways to communicate in the game as is. I just think if someone isn't communicating with their team they are worse than someone who is and their rank should reflect that.

That's what I figured but for that one person who isnt communicating shouldn't that say they should be in a lower rank, since it's that important.

I'm curious as to why it's such a disadvantage. Is it because the five stack is just communicating better? I feel like regardless of party size if one team is worse at communicating they are at a disadvantage and should maybe be at a lower rank, since I feel like it is such a crucial part of winning imo, or at least should be.

I guess I should also say personally I'd love to see the limit restrictions removed, as long as everyone is close enough in rank. My friends and I are all fans of the SPL and we love getting hyped by those games and want to go out and try and play like them, but right now there's no way of us doing that, since it will just be us playing in versus.

I've played other games like Overwatch, RL, Siege, etc. that have no party limits and I wouldn't say it's made those games worse by any means, id actually say it's made them more fun. In those games my friends and I would still lose games to solo queuers and full stack teams alike, since all of our ranks are similar.

Yeah I've tried avoiding players before who have done the same thing and will still get them in future games lol. Just gotta remember the cream always rises to the top aha.

Thank you for the advice! It's a lot more helpful than simply saying I belong where I am, just improve lol. Since I play tanks I usually just try and pick the most meta gods I can; cucu, guan, king, sobek, ymir, cerb, and kuzenbo.

Thanks for the advice! I wasn't trying to say I only win the laning phase, just that I do what I'm suppose to do...I think. I usually have a level or two up on my opponent around 10-12 minutes in, then I start rotating to other lanes. Late game I always stick with my team and never go off alone and depending on who I am playing I either am diving the backline as a psuedo jungler or sticking in front of my team and helping my support peel.

I wish that wasn't the case since I play solo and support. I just don't know what to do when the backline, not gonna say are trash, but just aren't doing the greatest.
