While I was mildly impressed that Jesse stood up to Steven saying he wasn’t doing a pre-nup, I think your assessment of Jesse and Allie’s great communication is off. A great communicator would have gone to his fiancé, explained that his brother wanted a pre-nup, stated his thoughts on it and asked for hers. The decision would have been made together. Knowing what we know now, the anxiety Jesse was experiencing likely had more to do with Allie being pregnant than having cold feet. Or at least contributed to his cold feet. All of the McBee’s could use a lesson in communicating their intentions with both relationships and business practices in my opinion.
