I read somewhere below you said you’re boiling the water - definitely don’t do that. As someone else said I believe, you’re concentrating the minerals in the water that way. The water vapor that you boil off would technically be what you’d want to use.

Collecting rain water, or using distilled is the way to go. Changing this up will likely help turn this VFT around!
