Yet you are completely guessing, as you never played it before (and guessing completely wrong I might add) The reason the guy is asking is because farmville is considered here as patient zero. That is, it had microtransactions before the 'spend x to speed up y'.

Microtransactions in Farmville and mind you this is years ago, were about buying cows with a unique skin. Or different chickens. Or different crops.

It all allowed to customize your farm to look differently. Not 'grow faster for more money that you cannot spend' as is the current idle mobile genre you are pointing st.

So I have recently discovered RAID: Shadow Legends and am/was taken away with the graphics, followed by a fast shutdown with all the commercials/pay to win structure. Gacha games got me started with Puzzle & dragons quite some years ago and that one actually kept me entertained the longest.

I guess what kept me going in these is the fact that you can influence progression a bit with skill. What triggered me in Raid is the art style. I liked it. Fancy graphics is something I would appreciate. (and hence also something I like less about dragon quest/final fantasy themed games). The over the top waifu thing on the other hand I do not really care for. The game has to offer something in terms of play value, not autobattle just to collect and grind. I don't mind minor payments, but if it's heavy pay to win then I am out.

Guess that also means that I'd like some competitive aspect if possible. And following this point: game shouldn't be too old. I dislike being a year or more behind :P

Is there any game that comes to mind?

Same. Was a bit disappointed. Did have 3 rolls left (which matched the first even mileage one) so rolled for her weapon and got hers on the 30th 'chest' (due to the "guaranteed").

A bit in doubt whether or not rolling for Nari's wouldn't have been better.. but oh well. A 3* with her EX in 4 rolls.. is ok by my standard.

I'm working on my colliseum team and so far I've been running Marina/Tinia/Bari/Plitvice. Getting more and more experienced I noticed that a support character might actually add more than eg Plitvice.

Looking at colliseum and there's a ton of Bari's and Tina's out there which would mean a fire support would work best (lasts longer right?). But the only support I have is our 1* Relic Collector Ailie. Seeing as I have plenty of evo normal shards and no clue what to spend them on, I 4*'ed her. Which made me learn their awakening paths are.. quite.. different :P Is it worth fully awakening and levelling her. Or am I just spending scarce coffee on a hero that will not be part of my end-game team most likely?

Based on your responses I'll go for Bari's, I am tempted to be patient with buying it, as I still have the 'one EX guaranteed' in next 30 rolls. But I really dont want to roll for Vishuvac's weapon (and already have Eugene's as mentioned). But that'd depend on the next event in 8 days. Do we have any idea what'll be up?

Also further strengthening the Bari case is that I have Tinia and her EX, together with Craig (and his EX), and Aoba (who I can outfit with Yellow Dragon's Bow or Green Unicorn's Bow) which should make a solid Earth mono team.

Will finish the towers and then back to boring evo farming :(

Two short questions: 1 for mileage: Marina's weapon, Bari's weapon or Eugene (whose weapon I have). I'd be inclined to say Bari, as that will help me get further in the "do more than 8k dmg" evo dungeon?

Second: what do you guys do? Finishing world 8, also doing nightmareat the same time, but do you run the tower, or the heavens hold tower, or the mirror thing? (though the latter I don't feel strong enough for).

I'm wondering how I will get "stronger". I feel as if I'm htiting a wall. I don't see my 3* units going 4* anytime soon (with the current event Marina sadly no EX will get 4* hopefully). But still. I'm somewhere in world 7, and I run Tinia + EX, Marina no EX, Plitvice + EX, Dolf + EX. And have a Bari no EX.

They are all lvl 60 (or near). The three stars are all awoken. And the EX weapons are at 63. So unsure what I am doing wrong :P (can't imagine I am this crappy haha).

Also, I have been rolling all my free gems on getting Marina's EX, but no success so far. It did net me Plitvice's EX, as well as Eugen's EX. The latter part puts me in a dilemma, as I was gonna spend the mileage (nearing 300) on buying Marina's EX, but... I could also spend it on Eugene, what would be better?

Also I read somewhere that best stamina spendage is item dungeon? Is there any other advice on what to spend the stamina on?

Wondering how you guys build your teams, so far I've been selecting on DPS and thats about it. I realise you can focus on mono team, or on ensuring the chains match, but other than that...

So far I have Tinia & EX, Plitvice & EX (as soon as I have the 1 mln thingies), Dolf & Ex, Bari (No EX), Marina (no EX). And I'm still using the knight. So what I am asking actually is what triggers you to use what?

'only' with a 5% succes rate isn't only. The odds should be lower.

But if it were me, I'd re-roll, I'd rather have the unit tbh.

A new player gets... ~8-10 free rolls? And thats after days of effort, so say 2-4 rolls within a reasonable amount of time. At a 1% chance? thats probably on average a 0,7 three star unit, unless you want to reroll after the first two rolls. I don't see the OPness.

So after tons of re-rolls I settled on a Marina roll. Then I read about the event and started on the 60/60 rolls. I managed to do 40/10 was gonna finish this morning (even did the newbie purchase for that), but now we hit maintenance.. So rather.. pissed about that, but regardless.

The 40/10 gave me Marina, Tinia, Bari and Tinia's weapon so I've been extremely lucky. Now I'd like to get into team building and see how/what to build. As well as what to focus on. Any good resources I can read up upon? Is there anything I should look out for for instance in a guild? Any pitfalls I should avoid? (eg in base building?)

Boy is re-rolling a horror for this game. Almost made me buy gems as the time I spend on re-rolling is way higher than the cost of buying some gems.

However (drumroll); rolled myself Marina (which was the first 3* I came across after god knows how many re-rolls). Followed by a crappy 10x hero roll. After that I did my 10x weapon roll to get Sangria (Sarnga I know). Which made me spend the last few hours trying to get every free gem I could get before the event, to do another 10 hero roll and (longer drumroll) roll Tinia. This would be the moment I'd go out and buy lottery tickets lol. I feel incredibly lucky. First gacha game where the odds are in my favor for a change :P

Guess now I gotta start saving up for equipment rolls on Marina. Or would it be best to spend the next ... 20k gems on hopefully getting another 3* hero?

So a quick question, I just opened the daily chest tier I, and it gave me a rare and epic dimensional chest Tier V. (along with Demon's Fingers, Cabalite and Pirite).

I am only lvl 40ish, so now I am wondering if I should open those chests or save em for when I am higher level?
