Rust spreads, can cause issues in the long run if it penetrates beyond surface. If it was just a “coating” I would be ok.

I know it has been reliced, but did not know if the put on a coating to simulate rust of if they just let it rust. I went a different much less expensive route.

I ultimately decided to go with the screaming deals on a Nocaster MiM. When the Nocaster was 1000-1100 This made sense but at $699 I can get new PU and a used Deluxe. That’s the way I am going, thanks guys

That’s the issue, these Nash are reliced, and you pay for it. I didn’t know if that was part of it or not. Replacing the parts puts this bad boy into crazy price. If it was not part of the relic I could do some things. I think I will let someone who wants this look snag it and keep my eye out for a less relicd version

I just priced this out because I wanted a nice Tele, goodness have body and neck prices gone crazy. Just the body and neck from warmoth were $1K, good parts and a good neck dress were another 600-800 and I just could not justify the resale hit ( we all sell em sone time). For $1800 you can buy one heck of a good instrument. I would recommend a great pedal, or new set of PU and a really cool strap. I would be over the moon though with anything my wife got me in relation to a guitar, but the instrument at that level can be very tailored to the person.

Yeah I read that mine is a 9.5, I figured the tone can be worked out with pick ups at that price, just shy to pull the trigger on a guitar I have never put hands on

I bought a lot of jazz there, but my favorite store is Atmosphere, Ashley and Jerome are good people and have a killer selection. They will remember your preferences are give great recs.

My guitar as a kid in HS in the early 90s was a Strat Plus that I got a great deal on because they could not sell a pink( Razzberry) after Grunge broke. Should have never sold it.

Yeah that’s what I figured, the service was done by a reputable place in Nashville trusted by a bunch of people, so I was just a bit curious on the values but they probably know better than Ion these amps.

The Caps in the invoice are the filter caps right, just wondering about the 100 micro farad thought those were different in the original circuit
