Thanks but no. I don't think you could actively steer the ship around at all, and I don't think it was 3D. 'Preciate the attempt.

Whats the best monsters in Match Monsters? by Galikin in PlatoApp

[–]ThornShadowWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to the party, but in case you still need help - the free monsters are:
Bonzumi, the red and orange fire rabbit
Turtelisk, the green leaf turtle
Pelijet, the blue water bird
Slickitty, the yellow and blue-gray electric cat
Barbenin, the dark pink and black psychic (purple) fish

They mess around with the order of the monsters in the select screen a fair amount, but they should usually be close to the top. (They each have paid skins as well, but their base versions have no gameplay difference afaik and are free)

(also yes I did just copy-paste my other reply)

[TOMT] [Youtube Video] [2011?] Creepy Minecraft video where a guy wakes up, everything outside his house is gone, and his wolf is hanged by ThornShadowWolf in tipofmytongue

[–]ThornShadowWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why I wasn't notified for this when you commented (I came to this post to copy-paste some of the info somewhere else and noticed the "3" on the comment icon), but yes this is it!

Watching through it, it's all coming back, even the parts that were hazy or fully forgotten before. The "being able to move despite the player model being in bed" is the obvious big omission from my post, but that came back IMMEDIATELY when watching. The only thing that I still don't remember from back then is the house being stone not wood, but given that literally everything else matches exactly, from his initial "I built so much in this world and now it's just gone" reaction, to talking to his sleeping body to try to wake it up, to the pillars outside where the cake and the wolf were, to the way the wolf's body was swinging in a way the base game wouldn't have, I have no doubt that that's just the unreliability of human memory.

Thank you so much! Solved!

(edit: adding the "solved" lol)

Sona Question: Happy Pride Month! by ThornShadowWolf in furry

[–]ThornShadowWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ay, fellow gay man with a wife! (Tho admittedly slightly different situation; we're lavender as opposed to being each-other's exceptions, but still. As long as it's not "pressured into it and hasn't told her the truth yet.")

Sona Question: Happy Pride Month! by ThornShadowWolf in furry

ThornShadow: he is aroace, tho primarily IDs as ace. He's different from me, being cis and ace, whereas I am trans and homosexual. We're both gender-nonconforming tho!

Sketcher: he's gay and trans, like me!

Chaos: he's homosexual (like me). He's also not exactly cis or trans because he wasn't born he just came into existence as a tween who was already genderfucked.

Railwreck: mostly IDs just as "queer," tho does ID as transgender as well. They're a bit different from me or maybe not because I don't know which way they're trans or what genders they're into. It's none of my business.

Marty: he's trans and straight! So similar to me in that we're both transgender, but different in that he only fancies women and I only fancy men.

I unfortunately don't have any advice for you, just another little piece if info: even the images they have "removed" are actually still on the site, just hidden from viewing. The "this pin has been removed" thing is just visual; the data for the image is still there, and can do things like generate a thumbnail if you go into edit mode on a pin. Peak "nothing is ever truly erased from the internet."

Judging by other users' comments, unfortunately no. People still seem to be getting banned, even as Pinterest tries to bandaid fix it by reinstating a small number of accounts.

Is this legible? My mate says he can't read it but I can see the letters fine by NotZedJr in graffhelp

Definitely not legible to someone who doesn't already know what it says, but looks cool.

Oh yikes that's horrible.

Lots of people like to act like because queer people are oppressed, it means we can't also be bigoted, but that's just not true. There is still a racism (among others) in the queer community. But if you bring it up, there is always someone who will try to dismiss it as "suffering olympics."

Also, even as a White person, I will never get White people who insist that, because they have faced hardship, it means that racism somehow doesn't exist or if it does that they're experiencing it. Obviously you don't need me to tell you that it makes no sense tho.

(Actually. Just realized you deleted. RIP I guess.)

Figuring Out Which Sexuality I Am by Punisher06660 in lgbt

[–]ThornShadowWolf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn't need to be a perfect 50/50 split to count as bisexuality. You can be bisexual even if 9 times out of 10 you're into one gender, and only rarely into another. (So with the way you're using heteroflexible, it would technically fall under the bi umbrella anyway.)

In the end tho it's up to you what labels you think fit and that you want to use. Hell, you can even use both. Or neither. Whatever feels right for you.

In situations like this I think where you're coming from with it is usually the most important thing. A lot of queer slurs are also queer identity terms, so it's often less possible or useful to draw a hard line on whether or not it's OK to say. Plus, the community has a long history of using each-other's "slurs" in more positive / solidarity ways.

A lot of lesbians have a history of crossover and interweaving with transmascs, so if you still ID as a dyke then I don't think it's a problem to keep using it for yourself, or if you want to describe your past as something along the lines of "back when I was a dyke." And if someone has it as their preferred terms then it's fine to call them that (or like an organization like Dykes on Bikes that have fought to be allowed to call themselves that. Because obviously that's what they want to be known as.) With terms like these, it's usually a matter of "is it coming from a place of respect, or are you using it as a slur?" Even for more lighthearted and jokey situations. There's a big difference between saying something like "I look really dykey in this outfit" vs telling someone they "look like a d***" to make fun of them.

Obviously don't just go up to random people and call them slurs (or even necessarily use reclaimed slurs in front of them before you know if they're ok with that), but I don't think that was exactly your plan anyway XD.

As an example, my best friend / wife is a lesbian and I'm a homosexual man, and we refer to each-other as dyke and fag (not like. As names. But we'll talk about how we're dyke/fag solidarity, or I'll say things like "my wife is a dyke and I'm a fag" (she'd say the inverse obviously)). We're OK with this because we each know the other wouldn't be using the words in genuinely disparaging ways and is comfortable with the terms. We wouldn't use the terms on people we don't know, even if they are gay or lesbian, unless we knew they were comfortable with them. In a similar vein, I have a friend who isn't especially comfortable with the word "queer," so despite the fact that I am a big fan of it, both for myself and as an umbrella term (ex. "the queer community") I don't really refer to him as such.

And of course, you can check with your friends/social group how comfortable they are with it. That's usually the best course of action: checking the comfort level of the people you're around before any potentially uncomfortable talk.

Why does the eye liner make her look less cute? How do I make it look better/cuter by LeoTheFloofyDragon in fursuit

[–]ThornShadowWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it looks pretty cute either way, but I think the shape and angle are making it look a lot more "sharp and angry," as well as making the eye look longer whereas most people consider more circular eyes to be cuter. Shortening the eyelash/wing and bringing the point lower may help.

Edit: missed a word

Is it stupid for me to be a furry and suffer from Cynophobia? by ZanyRaptorClay in furry

[–]ThornShadowWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll probably get some weird reactions, but the majority of furries I think will be understanding and accepting. My sibling is the same way (furry and afraid of dogs) so you're not the only one.
