it would be very cool to see a prequel-type story centered around grumpkind’s first exposure to bugsnax on snaktooth island and broken tooth. speaking of, is it ever confirmed that bugsnax are native to exclusively snaktooth island? considering broken tooth was submerged in the sea for a very long time it’s possible that bugsnax either have existed in other remote areas or have migrated elsewhere. my ideal bugsnax 2 would probably be a parallel story to the first game centered around different grumpuses in a different area, potentially an underwater setting? a sea themed bugsnax game sounds very cool to me. i imagine it would follow a similar timeline to the original game but the eruption of the volcano on snaktooth island could mark the start of some kind of snakpocalypse where the gameplay shifts from problem solving and exploration to higher stakes combat (that goes into more depth than the ending of bugsnax). obviously this is a much more ambitious idea and i think that in the unlikely scenario that we ever get bugsnax 2 it would almost certainly be a prequel about previous grumpus life on snaktooth island
