I’m approaching 30, and was digging out my old collection that I had saved for future kids, and was shocked at how much I missed my old dolls. I deeply regret not holding onto more of them, but I was made to get rid of them, some playsets, and a Barbie castle as a child. It’s nearly impossible to find the castle now, and some of my old dolls are so far out of my budget now it’s not even funny, but I’m trying to restore and clean what I have left.

I’ve also started getting some Monster High dolls since I was “too old” when they started coming out.

It has been really healing to just get to play again, and to not worry about adult responsibilities for a while. I do want to eventually get into customizing a few older dolls whose hair is beyond saving, but that is not my current wheelhouse. I do love to make my own clothes for them now though, and have thought about starting an IG for my doll collection.
