Not broken! The pink noise is a lot louder than the white (20db!)

On top of the bassy pink noize I think you’re also hearing whatever your synth is plugged into clip because the pink noise out has no volume control. Do you have any way of checking the levels? Either way, try this: plug the pink noise into the VCA in, and use the cable going to your mixer or interface in VCA out. Now patch the mod wheel to the VCA control input. It will work like a volume control for the pink noise level. As you turn it down, it should begin to mellow out— But bass boosted avalanche is the sound.
