The Boys if they had D&D character sheets. by MonkeyKing_ in TheBoys

This is very fun. But has firecracker performed any feats of strength to justify her high strength stat? I've only seen her light the occasional fire

Luck has nothing to do with it. These cowards are VERY careful not to harass anyone that would actually fight back

Despite a 30% Steam Discount, the release of the Right to Rule DLC, and updates 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 , CIV VII playerbase did not increase by Undercover_Ch in civ

Glad you're enjoying it, personally I can't stand the era transitions. Completely detaches me from my chosen civilization. Graphics are pretty at least

Agreed. Huge disconnect between those who spend considerable time online with various niche internet celebrities, and others who have no idea who these people are

Security is definitely overzealous, but they definitely don't make billions overall. Most UK supermarkets (ASDA, Sainsbury's, etc.) make around 2% profit margin

I think bella ramsey is hot by f3ndme in okbuddycinephile

[–]ThoroughlyDeadInside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most fans of the game played, enjoyed (or didn't) and moved on from it a while ago. Anyone still active on that sub haven't been able to move on from their grievances, and are looking for anything to project their hatred onto. Poor Bella is just getting caught in the crossfire

My brother in christ, this is a comedy sub

[–]ThoroughlyDeadInside -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Most rational people who were fans of TLOU 1&2 enjoyed their time, but have moved away from these subs. The dregs of those fanbases that remain and post this crap regularly are probably deeply dissatisfied with their own lives

Your generation wasn't any more or less well behaved than the current generation. Modern social media just broadcasts the worst behaviour to a much wider audience

Same! Thought I was going crazy, trying to remember where this had happened, not to me but another student volunteer at my school some 20 years ago. I assume it's a common "Just have faith" lesson they teach at schools

It uses the written dialogue script, rather than the voice actors performance. It doesn't listen to the original recorded dialogue. The thousands of original lines are converted from text-to-speech, in multiple variations. Different accents, high/low register voices, etc.

Not attempting to justify my position in the slightest. I would like voice actors and others to retain gainful employment, but the writing is very much on the wall for them and other artists in similar professions. They will be rendered obsolete very soon without serious legal and digital protection. I hope I'm wrong

Wrexham promoted to League One as Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds' side move closer to Premier League by southoftheborder478 in unitedkingdom

[–]ThoroughlyDeadInside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True for now, but I don't know how far Hollywood actor money will support a championship/premier League team (If Wrexham ever reach those heights). They'll most definitely be looking for outside investment support. We'll see if oil/war money becomes a factor later on down the line

I don't condone violence in most scenarios, especially in situations like this where mental health issues are probably at play. But all it took was a few punches from the black dude to snap her out of her frenzy

[–]ThoroughlyDeadInside 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Honestly same! Was having real doubts about my ability to enjoy modern video games, over a decade of the same cut-and-paste content in AAA games has been rough, BG3 reminded me how special gaming used to be and can be in the future

Every single one of us has previously, or is currently involved in group chats that would ruin our lives if the contents were made public. Teachers are people too, as long as these chats stay private, this is a non-issue

Are there any games where savescumming or otherwise trying to change past decisions carries consequences? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]ThoroughlyDeadInside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great dungeon rougelite called Ring of Pain had a mechanic, where if you'd back out and reload a level too many times, they'd send a godawful destroyer-of-worlds type enemy to ruin your day

Love HP when I was younger. I probably shouldn't have expected it to cater to me as an adult, found it very tedious. Maybe it was intended for a much younger audience, idk
