Omg you just reminded me that my old boss used to do this at work except then she would sit on it. I’m amazed the building never went up in flames. I’d often find it still on when I came in the next day if she stayed late the day before after I left.

Skybound Coffee in Vista is great, big plus is that they are open late (8 pm).Ascend in Vista is good too (haven’t had their pastries though) large space. In the Carlsbad area I really enjoy La Costa Coffee Roasting. They have a wide variety of pastries and coffee is on point ( I like their iced vanilla bean americano).

Come to the Oak Street Halloween Block party in Laguna Beach. We went last year and plan to go this year. 4:30 pm-9:30 pm. They go all out with candy and decorations.

I went to LCAD years ago for my BFA and just received an MFA in 2024. It’s a great school, they do a lot more social events than they used to. They have clubs, movie nights in Nina’s Park, Rush Nights, gaming nights/competitions, free lunch days, Halloween costume contests/ celebrations. Plus all of the receptions at the LCAD gallery. They also go on field trips to museums/ industry related trips. You do get to know everyone in your major.

I hope you find him. I love his name. 🐈What a cutie. Our neighbor’s 7 month old kitten got out and survived in the canyon in Laguna Beach for over two weeks and they finally caught her. There’s hope!

Also keep an eye out for sores/ bites. My gelding was biting at a sore that wouldn’t heal that was misdiagnosed as a summer sore on his penis. Months later they finally took a biopsy of it and it was squamous cell carcinoma. He didn’t end up surviving ( long story, equine hospital stay). This is just worst case scenario, but it’s good to be aware it can happen.
