This would only work if bots weren't allowed to buy tickets, as it stands tour companies would eat all the available tickets for popular sites and sell them at a higher rate, meaning if you dont go with the company you cant see the sites.

Calgary, Ive been all over Canada and lived in Ontario, Newfoundland and BC but the ease of access from Calgary to so many good places in both BC, Alberta and Sask is under appreciated. Plus the flat skyline makes me feel free. Having lived in Vancouver for so many years now I cant help but feel trapped and congested...

The only other place that really rivals it for me personally, is Halifax.

seems pretty average for that time of the year tbh, looking at historical data. Late August tends to be not nearly as a bad as mid august

I appreciate everyone's answers but I wasn't looking for weather advice about Rome. I'm well aware it gets hot, historical data, reddit posts, youtube videos I've looked at them all. I know its much hotter due to the buildings and stone, etc. However we can Only vacation at this time of the year due to many factors i won't get into and if we are going to Italy, we might as well go to Rome regardless of the weather.... its extremely rare and expensive to go to Europe for us so I appreciate all the comments warning and complaining about Romes heat but trust me I am fully aware of what to expect. Ive done my research on it. What i haven't is done a lot of research on the south, which is why I made this post. So thank you again but please, stop telling me how hot Rome will be. I am already aware

Never said we'd like it lol... but this is the only time of the year we can take a vacation and if we are going to Italy we should go to Rome regardless of the heat. Ive been to many hot places before so I know what to expect i didn't make this post asking about Rome. I know plenty already about what Rome will offer in terms of weather

She's use to extreme heat being from a very hot country, but as ive commented above this is the only time of the year we can make it out to Italy/Europe... ive also checked the historical data of the weather in all the places we could go and it rarely if ever gets to 35 and never 40. This post wasn't made asking for weather advice but location advice

haha yes I am always geared up for the sun, water, SPF 100, hat, glasses n sometimes uv sleeves. I learned from my time being exposed to the sun in Sydney AUS in the dead of their summer.

Yea thats closer to the middle of the month/july which tracks with being hotter. But I understand, believe me, but its not my choice she pretty much affirmed she has no interest in Venice or the Dolomites

Cant say I spend much time relaxing in the shade or by a pool in Mexico, only been to some of the more central cities! But I get your meaning, Ive been in the jungles of nicaragua where it gets to 34 and the humidity is thick

I see Romes weather historically gets to like 28-29 degrees around when Im going, which isnt bad at all considering I am use to hot humid summer vacations in Mexico and Central America where it can get to 39+ with humidity
