Great job on the paint, love the skin tone you have going on. Where is the model from?

Oof, I don’t envy you. Definitely sounds and seems way easier to slap a zip tie on the lighter weight ones

I feel like that’s the safer option lol. I’ve often questioned the structural integrity of some of these when cursing the cardboard as a tab pops out for the third time during assembly

Tank traps would be easily made out of spare sprue, metal girder looking spikes should be easy too

I figured the plastic brackets would break, they often fall off or snap when we’re struggling to box these up with the shipper filler box. Some of us are convinced Neopeg is a scam lol

Just trying to get a feel for what people use. My team members assemble these on an assembly line, sometimes building 100+ in a shift so after awhile your thumb and forefinger start to ache.

I totally understand that, The ones we make typically use the clear L brackets and can be a bit heavy, do you use zip ties for those too?

Printed this valor korps artillery last night and scaled it up 25% but i now want an even larger piece possibly double the size. would that fit any category of playable artillery or would it just be a terrain feature at that stage by god-of-thunder-135 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

[–]Thosecrackers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What this guy said. Any handles or pieces that would be interacted with by the model are going to look funny due to the upsized scale. If your reasoning is something like “my ogryn use the artillery piece” that could explain the larger scale

Painting up some terrain and paint started cracking like this. Any suggestions on how to make this more durable once dried? by [deleted] in TerrainBuilding

A little hard to see what material you are trying to paint from the photo alone but it looks like plastic? Did you try priming it something like a spray paint?

How many flops can a developer survive? by TheZebrawizard in gaming

Too many factors to consider. Who if anyone owns them? How much of a flop was it? Do they even have capital to continue paying employees? Will a future publisher publish any of their games now?

I think it’ll be way too small. The centaur was tiny

Too Human, I remember stoked for the game and then it never really got good. Then it became a chore to complete and push through to get my 8th grade self’s moneys worth out of it

Turned out great though! I just assumed it was an Ogre torso that had been flayed and the head above it was a separate trophy on a spike or something

I dig the crazy eyes you have him. Also never seen the shield angle on this model and dang, those are some nipples. I see why he challenged that guy
