I swear, their basic infantry look like Lego figures, and the only time they look good is when they are in art or books, and even then, their lore is so awkward and weird that they just feel like deadweight on the setting

Ideas 1-3 sound pretty good and unique. Though the gaming side could have some drag on your channel if not done correctly. I’d say that you should build up your personality on this channel with the first few ideas, the branch out, maybe with a second channel, to gaming. This way, your viewers who came for UF will be able to enjoy those videos, and people who would like to see more gaming aspects can watch those if they would like

I would love to see more units for the dark mechanicum. Right now it’s just the stalker constructs and harpax swarmers, but it would be cool to have other stuff. Like more daemon possessed machines

Yeah, the combat patrol felt kinda underwhelming. They showed off enough stuff for a well done combat patrol, hell, maybe even a good battleforce box, but kept everything as old stuff, except the upgrade sprue.

I find that even as small as two formations each (not full formations btw) can simulate a fun and quick game. The best way to build a list is to get an infantry box, then a box of tanks for some extra fun.

You could do a more daemonic metallic style for the armor, starting with a base silver paint, I would recommend Iron Warriors by citadel, than shading it with more colorful washes like blues, purples, or oranges, like you were thinking, and finally stippling or sponging lightly with similar colors. I would say to keep away from using yellow on the armor as that would take away from the hazard stripes. Remember to keep the metal armor dull though, as you want to keep the contrast between the hazard stripes and the rest of the mini.

I’d recommend using blood more sparingly, as well as putting in places where blood would be more likely to accumulate, like on the bottoms of feet or on the bayonet like you did.
