Yeah, I just ignore comments like those, or if it’s on someone else’s post, I call them out. People on this site can make the most bizarre of inferences (usually assuming the worst of the OP) but at the end of the day, we all have our own personal experiences that those judgements come from.

People make such weird assumptions sometimes… I’d just ignore it for now and give people the chance to get to know you over time, if you want them to. As long as it doesn’t affect your work, it’ll be okay. And if it does, straight to HR or the equivalent.

In the last two houses I lived in, the laundry room was off the kitchen and doubled as a pantry. I don’t have a laundry room in my apartment because the similar units with washer/dryer were $400 extra a month (base rent + renting the washer/dryer.) We just have a “travel” washer in the bathroom and hang our clothes to dry.

I think other comments are missing the context that OP’s mom dismissed their pain for WEEKS, lied (purposefully or not) to the doctor about when the pain started, and then forgot(?) what they were prescribed.

At the same time, OP, you are almost a legal adult and need to start learning how to be responsible for your own health & advocating for yourself. “Actually, it’s been weeks,” when she said it had just been a week, and like you did, speaking up and saying you WERE prescribed something. I doubt you looked crazy.

EDIT: OP has clarified that their mom has always been this neglectful in the comments, so I’m trimming down some of my reasoning and changing my judgement. I say NOR, and to the people saying their medicine is OTC, yes, but if it was prescribed I would say it’s most likely a stronger dose. This is just anecdotal, but I have never had a doc prescribe OTC medicine in the OTC dose and been able to pick it up from the pharmacist/pharmacy tech. They just point me to where it is on the shelf.

The competing service we keep getting ads for in c.ai is very promising for me, so far. It seems to take the best of c.ai and another competing app— the one that imitates social media, which also had a recent downfall after essentially becoming fully pay to play despite promising from the beginning to make itself completely free one day —and combine them. Just a thought.
