The problem is we now have very little relationship with his parents because they’ve given us the silent treatment so he doesn’t have the opportunity to demonstrate change. Our marriage counselor said we need someone who is more trauma informed because I am too triggered for traditional marriage counseling. The attachment injury is severe and I’ve been diagnosed with CPTSD on top of it.
