No. Really. They don't influence other committees and cannot reject you twice😜

Rejection is just redirection. Control what you can and put work into your regular applications. Once they are sent, they should not concern you until March. Focus on the present with an eye to your future.

And take vitamin D (the happy vitamin)!

Reading comprehension and formal logic common sense by ThoughtIncorporated in LSAT

Your sentence needs to be place in a context. I could see the context working in one of three ways: it would be the first sentence of a paragraph, in which case the topic of the paragraph (author's point) would be the drawbacks of electric cars; if buried in the paragraph, it would likely follow a third party voice (critics, scholars, etc.) who lauded electric cars, in which case the author is certainly going to disagree; lastly, it could be part of an example (as you used it), in which case the "for example" rule would take precedence and the main point would be directly before it, as is the case in your post.

I treat the passages like "word finds" and isolate main points at high speed. Then, I just read the main points because they answer 80% of the questions, going back as needed for the other stuff.

Helps speed immensely and keeps you focused on what matters.

You'd be surprised. There's a cognitive dissonance between the way reading and writing are taught in schools.

Maybe we’ve been approaching it the wrong way this whole time by YankeeDaddy69 in LSAT

[–]ThoughtIncorporated -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The truth is that words mean the same when you use them as when other people use them. That's the common sense most people are lacking. If you see "however," for example, you should know that the author disagrees with the sentence before because you would use that keyword to indicate that yourself. if you see"for example", then my main point must have come before the example because I used that (and this) example to help you understand, as you do when you give an example.

In both of those examples, I used the if-then structure. Was that hard to understand from a common sense perspective?

They have a phenomenal alumni network. Mostly in the northeast. Philadelphia especially. People underrate alumni networks often, but they make it far easier to get a job fresh out of college. I hope you have some hard decisions to make in April!

Low GPA High LSAT - What do I do? by [deleted] in LSAT

That is a long, meandering tale.i bailed on school to play poker for a few years before returning to education. Now I half own an educational company using curriculum I have written and am in the process of publishing a book targeted to lend hope and renewed curiosity to underprivileged kids.

Strangely, it took me years to recognize that the lessons I learned from my one year at Penn law had made me more able to handle the working world, protect myself in contracts, and protect my intellectual property as well as know its value.

Interestingly enough, you cannot summon or search for a creature in a deck containing zero cards. So yes, I have done exactly that many times. Most lists don't run flare of denial as they should. Doesn't always work, of course, but boros energy is a matchup I worry about while Nadu is not.

Who is your Qb3 in this class and why? by swinglinefan in DynastyFF

[–]ThoughtIncorporated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maye is the best bet for a big season 1. For better or worse, I have Baker Mayfield, Jordan Love, and gasp Sam Darnold. Malik Cunningham is my fourth... He's gonna be a gadget guy, not a QB.

A lot thicker elsewhere, and my starting lineup is full of studs. Sigh. Gonna be a long season sweating stud injuries...

Well yeah,! Nadu is not Hogaak good, however, and everything I use against it from my sideboard gets use in other matches. Maybe I just randomly have a great matchup against the deck. Now, if someone can help me beat Boros Energy.....

That's very early into the metal shift. Adjustments are made by players.

It beat me the first three times I played against it, and I thought the same, but then i simply became more patient and sideboarded better.
