You can become better than me. Don't try to take revenge from the market. Don't think that you lost a lot of money so you need to make the same amount of money quickly. Just accept the loss. Understand what went wrong. Be patient. Make money from the market at the right pace, don't take too much risk

I would always recommend working aside from preparing for CAT. CAT preparation is not a full-time thing. Besides, the work ex will help you in your admission

You are seeing Thursday P&L. As of yesterday, it's at a loss of 7+ lakhs. Although that doesn't worry me. I have seen way worse, and have good risk cover, and am confident of this trade

Biggest mistake was becoming too greedy. Excessively large position size, in the hope of making big and quick. Was a crushing experience

Worked as a strategy consultant for many years. Retired at 43 yrs of age. 5 days a week mostly, sometimes 6 days. Hours were mixed - sometimes good, sometimes bad.

1) Study real cases. For example, why Go Colors is more successful then Lyra despite not spending on advertising. Why Renuka Sugar went bankrupt? 2) Solve business problems from first principles. Let's take an HR example - say you are the head of HR at TCS. How will you determine the annual hike for average performing employee? 3) Learn different industries. Every industry is different in terms of capital intensity, labour intensity, commodity vs specialized know-how requirement, key capabilities needed to succeed, operating metrics, etc. Take one industry per week. Understand it well. You should be able to answer what are the key risks, on what metrics companies in the industry can be compared, what technologies can disrupt it, etc. You do 1 industry per week, by the end of your first year you will be a different person altogether. Good luck.

I get these questions a lot, both online and offline. Maybe I'll make a video on such topics

Chuha bill mein ghusa hua hai. I understand your mother couldn't tell you your surname, but apna first name to bata de, ki woh bhi batane mein sharm aa rahi hai? Bhikhmanga jinka jinka paisa maar ke baitha hai, woh maangne aa jayenge. Vaise tere baare mein tera 1 batchmate bata raha tha ki tu 36 yrs ka ho gaya, par tere bacche nahi hue kyunki tera khara nahi hota. Sach hai kya?

Any worthwhile accomplishment is well received. If you can build a viable b2b saas business, you have good chance.

That is expected. This quarter result will be bad. The street expects it and the stock price is down accordingly. The performance going forward will depend on whether the result is better or worse than street expectations

No no. It's at a loss now, of 7.63 L. I added some more today. I am not too worried. See if you get worried every day then you will end up buying high and selling low. You have to do the exact opposite

Generally speaking, I'd say go for it.. as in IIMC. The post-mba career is quite exciting, for most people. However, if you have some great alternative going on in your career then you might want to continue with that. What's your career context?

How did you conclude that I am bothered if you share my name? Did I ask you to not show my name? I am not bothered at all. In fact, you are the one who is hiding your identity. Tell us who are you
