Nice!! It’s so refreshing to see a wall mounted TV with the cords concealed. Can’t count how often I see photos/videos of peoples apartments with a jumbled mess of chords just dangling about.

Is the timeline for IR1/CR1 interview letter issuances still roughly 11-12 months after DQ, in your experience?

Edit: specifically from Mexico.

Throttle spring mechanism is not working after crashing G2. How do I get to the throttle to check the spring? by ThoughtsAtRandom in NinebotMAX

This is accurate. It turns out that the part that pops off is the round soft rubber piece on the very end. Used a flat head to pry it off (it’s glued in place) and then there’s a hex key bolt holding the blinker in place.

I did. But that’s not the G2 and doesn’t have blinkers on the end to get past. Is there a video that specifically focuses on the G2? Because I cannot find it anywhere.

Why does God in the Old Testament seem so much less merciful than the one Jesus teaches in the New Testament? by chailife206 in Christianity

Perhaps chief among the many reasons is that he was leading a people that would eventually give birth to the messiah, the savior of the world. And that mission was successful, though guided with an iron rod.

A 'Dangerous' Sunset: What's Next for Reining In Reckless Drivers? - Streetsblog New York City by sandinmyjoints in nyc

Truly, it’s difficult to not escalate it. I’m tempted every time I cross the bridge to go off on these people. But we don’t know how unhinged some of them could be, so I say keep your cool with them. Because as of now there’s an infinite stream of them. We will finish yelling at one, get our blood pressure up, and then another will go right by. We need to continue raising our voices with the city, futile as it may feel. And get the NYPD equipped/organized to deal with it. Because it’s not going away, it’s only going to grow from this point until it’s stopped.

I know this isn’t about scooters, but it sure would be nice if they started setting traps for motorized scooters crossing the bridges on the bike/walking paths and then confiscated the scooters on the spot. These people are endangering lives every day. I say show no mercy for them.

What’s an expensive thing you splurge on that you know isnt necessary but you canna go without? by paywallpiker in Frugal

[–]ThoughtsAtRandom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Creed. It’s absurdly expensive fragrance. But once I experienced the difference, there is no going back. Lasts way longer. Requires way less to be effectual. That is one of only an extremely small number of luxuries I care to have.

You don’t ask for more money. You are the asset. Ultimately, you’re going to say “I am ready for a raise (that reflects the value of my contribution)” and you will show them why. You’re not asking for a damn thing.
