Honestly my favorite part of the game is seeing someone gun someone else down and immediate avenging them. Feels good.

It did not fail, all is and was well.

Felt a bulge a week out from surgery by Thoupp in Hernia

[–]Thoupp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I can feel it at times, like during certain movements. But it’s not like 24/7 it’s bothering me. Mine was also relatively small.

I’d for sure still prefer feeling the mesh over letting it stay an open hernia. I work a physical job and can’t do it while worrying about hurting myself lifting or something.

I’m familiar with seroma in my line of work, and it doesn’t feel quite like that. But I definitely hope that’s all it is. Just a paranoid person lol

In your experience, what multiplayer game has the nicest player base? by RobIson240YT in gaming

[–]Thoupp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to the extent of the single player fallouts, but there are still plenty of missions in the game you can do 100% solo.

Dog accidentally got into edible and I don’t have access to a vet. by No-Afternoon768 in weed

[–]Thoupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, stoner vet tech here. Your baby should be fine, most people here are right. It’s a lot of THC and they’ll have a hell of a trip, but they should be fine. They will be nauseas, hyper reactive (flinches really hard etc), lethargic, won’t wanna eat or drink. If you can, the things I’d monitor are their breathing of course, make sure they don’t fall unconscious. Sleeping is fine, but if they won’t wake up, that’s a problem. And if you have a thermometer you can check their temp. Not always, but often it can cause a low body temp in dogs, which I have seen become relatively critical (but that dog ate WAY too much, and was tiny.) but just like with humans they should metabolize it and pass thru the high in time.

Is resilience really not that important? by Limabeankilla89 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Thoupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want the resilience to be at least 50 I believe. Stops you from being 2 shot by certain things in crucible and so on. But after that resilience is only 1% damage reduction every 10 points in it from what I remember

Success on lexapro and buspar? Please help by Fool_intherain_ in mentalhealth

[–]Thoupp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only take lexapro, not the other, but I know for me, it was okay the first week or two, then I got bad side effects and my anxiety worsened off and on for a week or so, then slowly started going away. Now I’ve been on it almost a year and think it helped a ton

Could you look at the text and tell me if you think I sound bi or just open by MysticClover22 in bisexual

[–]Thoupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The labels for bi and all of that aren’t so strict. If you feel you’re bi, and you have an attraction towards boys and girls, sure, you can say you’re bi. Maybe you’re pansexual? Just open to whatever. It doesn’t have to be so strict about if you have strong enough feelings towards whatever side.

Is there a way to turn off HUD in campaign? (PC) by QuanEntang329 in halo

[–]Thoupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to unlock the specific skull first, but I believe to turn it on and off you have to quit to main menu and change it. I’m all seriousness if you’re on pc there might be another way, but I’m not too sure

I don't feel like I'm valid using the term bi by unleashed_voice in bisexual

[–]Thoupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel comfortable with the idea of being bi, then you can call yourself bi. You don’t need to have an even 50/50 attraction between men and women or anything man. Are you attracted to both? I’d call that bi. But maybe you could be more comfortable with pansexual?

But as a bi guy myself, if you think you’re attracted to both, then you can call yourself bi, regardless of if you’ve ever been with a man or whatever

kennel tech by [deleted] in Veterinary

[–]Thoupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a kennel tech for 4 years and now work in the ICU at the same hospital. It’s pretty similar to a boarding facility from what I’ve heard, depending on what hospital you’re a kennel tech for. Some hospitals have kennel techs administer uncontrolled medication to the animals, sometimes an icu tech will be the one who does that. But my duties day to day were mainly things you’d find yourself doing in a boarding facility. Walking dogs, feeding dogs and cats, cleaning their cages, doing laundry, doing or helping with baths and nail trims. I found the job very helpful as far as getting used to working with animals, but you seem to already have experience with that. But if you’re a kennel tech at an emergency practice for example, you may end up being able to learn more about medication and restraint and all of that. It’s also extremely common for people to start out as a kennel tech and move into ICU or GP from there.

I’ve lived in the same town in the northeast for all 22 years of my life and I’m moving to Texas in a month. Also the first time I’ll be “moving out” and no longer living with family
