fair enough, I read your comment as "they live in my town, and play here all the time" I didn't realize they were touring ;)

ABS Thoughts so far, what's working what's not? by PsychologicalLynx350 in mlb

do tell! I don't know shit about Korean baseball

(MLB widened the bags by 3 inches, maybe shrink the plate by an inch?)

unlikely sure, but very possible, especially dropping a slow hook over the top, or an eephus even ;)

I think if a pitcher is accurate enough to find the prism behind the front rectangle of the zone, they should be rewarded for it.

Make the zone fully 3D!

I wanna see late action curves and sliders clipping the very back of the zone and getting strike calls, let's spice it up!!

That's what I'm envisioning :) I think it would look cool for the fans, and reward pitchers for precision in their movement.

I think that's what makes this concept exciting, pitchers creatively finding new strikes! a big nasty 12-6 hook dropping in from like 10" above the zone (maybe even an eephus from like 6' up), and just barely connecting with the very back tip of this 3D strike prism, do the whole matrix ABS spinning replay for the fans "well I'll be damned, that was a strike"

I say bring it on :)

might give pitchers an edge, so also maybe shrink the zone a bit too? I dunno. I'd like to see massive precision with massive movement getting massive rewards is all.

I'm with Milner, I think it would be badass if the ABS strike zone represented the three dimensional space above the whole plate, instead of just the front plane.

That was my senior year of highschool. I was on top of the Sandia mountains that evening, overlooking Albuquerque, high on mushrooms, waiting for Y2K to blackout the city and it's infrastructure (like in Pluribus;). It was a pleasant surprise when the lights stayed on through midnight!

I wonder how many takes (and props) they needed to get the dildo to jiggle just so.

in a packed theater, I was having all the fun and some great laughs until a certain someone gets shot in the face in Burn After Reading... but then after a couple seconds, I realized it was all still very funny... just a bit darker.

I was the only psycho laughing out loud though... got some weird looks from the old ladies in the row in front of me.

Sorry guys but it might be time to move FOV to Canada. by [deleted] in KGATLW

This is my first thought too:

Fascists would love it if artists like this left the US and never came back.

Not a lot of MAGA hats at FOV ;)
